I visited this place once and it's pretty nice. Looked very clean with a large section of fresh bakery and deli options. I think I saw a sushi and olive bar. Very nice King Soopers. Very well organized and the selection of cheese is great. I always go at night but I believe in the day they have a few different type of fresh food bars. My favorite area is the grains and nuts that you can self serve per lbs. Baked goods are always fresh and a good selection of organic option. Lines tend to move quickly and the penny horse always has some pennies next to It for the kiddos. read more

With the exception of the 2-4 employees who are always smoking directly beneath the "no smoking" signs on the south side of the building this is a really nice grocery store. It just sucks walking through a cloud of smoke to get there. read more

Normally, I love shopping this location...The King Soopers website advises customers to use the online order pickup service due to increased demand. After placing an online order for pickup which was expected to be ready 3 days later on April 8th between 5 and 6 p.m., I was notified that the order would not be ready until later and to arrive between 7 and 8 instead. When I arrived I called and was notified the order would not be ready until the following day. The gentleman that answered the phone was apologetic and I informed him I understood, and that these are unusual circumstances. He told me to arrive anytime after 11 the following day. The following day around 2:30, I called to make sure my order was ready and was told it was. I arrived at 3:20 p.m. and was told the order would be out shortly. At 3:40, I called again gave my information again and was placed on hold for 10 minutes. I had to call back and was told that they had my order and I should get it shortly. At 4:08 p.m. after watching three orders filled prior to me for customers who arrived AFTER me, I called and asked to speak to a manager. I spoke with someone who would not identify themselves but said that they were sorry but they were doing the best that they could. I explained my order was delayed from the previous day, and I was okay with that, but I found it unacceptable that they would fill 3 orders prior to my order which was already a day late, when they arrived after I did. She assured me that they were pulling me order and that it would be out shortly. At 4:27 and yet another order given to a customer arriving after me, I left the store parking lot. read more

Holy smokes! This is by far the nicest, cleanest, and superb King Soopers I've been to in all of Denver. I just moved here from Dallas so we have Kroger's there...but this store...it's a bit out of my way on the way home from work, HOWEVER, I go here on the weekends because of the amazing selections and the artisan features this store offers. Great neighborhoods tend to have the best grocery stores, and this one does not disappoint! read more

Generally enjoy coming to this location. The following review reflects the current situation under the coronavirus pandemic. Many items were still available at open, but some items were sold old like tortilla chips, baked beans and 8oz bricks of cheese. The social distancing practices of the public are sloppy here, as may be the problem with many grocery stores due to isle width. The cart area just prior to entering the produce section is the worst offender with people crowding and maneuvering carts like it's Black Friday. Expect to get within 18-24 inches of many people during your visit here during this time. read more

I reserved my Clicklist order for 7-8 pick up. I got there at 7:20, but they told me there orders ahead of me. This happens when they're busy, so I sat there and waited while I browsed FB. After a while, I noticed people who came after me were given their orders and I realized I'd been waiting for 45 minutes. I called and Customer Service picked up. She let me know there was one more order ahead of me and then they would finish shopping my order! I knew then that this meant then didn't even have my order started, let alone ready 20 minutes into my pickup window. Now, it was after 8pm and they wanted me to continue waiting. I had them just cancel the order. I'm so annoyed that they didn't tell me when I got there that my order wasn't ready. read more

I've had much better luck with grocery pickup at Sprouts as far as the quality of the produce and getting what I ordered in a timely manner. Worst of all about this King Soopers, though, is how unbelievably wasteful they are with plastic bags. For my last order, an $83 order, about 20 plastic bags were used. Some bags contained only a single item (a single 8 oz bag of rice or 8 oz bottle of broth). Every single produce item, from a single lemon to a single grapefruit, was in its own plastic produce bag. King Soopers has touted its plan to eliminate plastic bags by 2025, but it's going to be extremely wasteful with them in the meantime? I can't do pickup here because of that. Also, many of the delivery workers don't seem to have been trained in social distancing. read more

What is there not to love? A salad bar, a burrito bar, sushi bar, Starbucks, a beautiful gourmet cheese section, AND an extensive bulk section. The layout and options are similar to the Leetsdale King Soopers (minus the alcohol) and the employees are super friendly. read more

Basic customer service and professionalism seems to be a very low priority. I've had odd experiences on several occasions with employees. From a deli employe who was short tempered when I requested items to a cashier who asked inappropriate personal questions and did the bare minimum during checkout, I don't ever want to return. It would be one except the Murray's is pretty good. I try to be patient with staffing shortages and supply chain issues. But it sure feels like this particular store just loves having that as an excuse. When shopping produce I have to work very hard to not get in the way of their shoppers and stockers. I take my cart to another section, park it out of the way, then try to stealthfully grab items and I am sure to apologize to them for being in the way. Never enough cashiers and I also feel like I need to apologize to them for bringing more groceries to them. I try to perk them up by being friendly and thanking them, but clearly their spirit has been crushed already and it's too late. My favorite is dodging pallets with nobody working them, wondering if today is the day they will have artisan bread (they keep me guessing by only making it available 1-2x per week but it's a different day every week apparently) and I haven't cracked the algorithm. I especially loved during COVID when literally every single cashier would take your items from your shopping cart and put them in the previous person's shopping cart like it's a warehouse club in 1991. Cool that I was so cautious only to have all of my items end up in someone else's cart for the final stretch to the parking lot. My last visit was better because I didn't have to move any carts to get into a parking space and I didn't have to bring any in from the lot myself--they had 3 for customers which is 3 more than they usually have. Finally, though, I'm optimistic this store will get better. Why? There's usually 5 or 6 managers with clipboards over checking on the Clif Bars and making a plan to reset the water section. Love that. Finally, be sure to stop by the gas station on the way out where you may or may not have access to gas that day. And if not, the cool thing is they don't have anything posted. You never know until you're at the pump. read more

I have been going to this grocery store since it recently opened and have been mostly happy with it, but today I went and there was one of those small shopping carts out front and I grabbed it. On my way in I noticed some bulbs that were on sale. I went inside to ask the florist about them since they had no information about what they were (bloom color, fragrance, etc.). The florist was very informative and told me why they were on sale and what they were. I went back out to get the flowers and my cart locked up at the door and my shin slammed into the cart. I wasn't sure what had just happened, because I knew about carts locking up if you try and leave the store premises, but I'd never seen one lock up while I was still under the roof. A manager came up to me and I told him what had happened and showed him my leg, which was bleeding. He said, "Well, there is a warning on the door about the carts suddenly locking up." Then he walked away. I was pretty surprised. He said he was sorry in a way that sounded more like it's your fault. Now, I didn't expect him to coddle me or give me free groceries, but my leg was bleeding and I figured he would at least show some empathy and maybe offer a bandaid. Now I have a painful bruise on my shin and blood on my pants. I have had good experiences with the staff at this store for the most part, but this first experience with the management has made me reconsider shopping here. They appear uncaring and unconcerned about their customers. read more

After taking the time to choose all of my groceries and place an online order for pick up, I arrived during my pick up window to be informed that my order was not yet ready and to come back two hours later. It was explained that someone tried to call me earlier, but no one left a message. Dismayed, I went home without groceries and waited two hours until I returned back to King Soopers to pick up my order. The same person who delivered the news previously came to my window to let me know that my order would not be ready until tomorrow. Furious at this point I asked to speak to a manager. The associate left me for 10 minutes without any contact so I eventually called the store and asked to speak to a manager. The manager apologized and said that someone tried to call me earlier. I replied that yes, I did in fact receive a missed call from Kroger, but no one left a message. She said that the person who called me wrote down that they left a message for me stating that my order would not be ready until tomorrow. I explained that I never received such a message and the associate who greeted me earlier told me in my order would be ready between seven and 7:30 PM this evening. I even called and spoke to another associate to ask about how I would be able to use the app later for my pick up as it appeared I had already done so. She confirmed my order would be ready between seven and 7:30 PM, told me to call upon my arrival and offered me a $10 coupon for the trouble. At no point did anyone tell me my order would not be ready until tomorrow until my second trip to the store. I am currently undergoing chemotherapy and I'm immunocompromised. It is ill advised for me for me to enter a grocery store or any public space for that matter. Regardless, I was left with little choice this evening as I refused to come back for a third time tomorrow in hopes that my order may be ready. I was out of groceries and out of patience. This store needs better management. This is not my first encounter with poor management here. read more

I had all but given up on King Soopers given my experience with the 29th and Quebec store. Without a doubt, the worst shopping experience I had ever experienced but the only food store in the area. I'm in walking distance to this store and have shopped here since the opening. The first 6 months were great with a good selection and customer service. Prices were never cheap. Store was clean and employees helpful and inviting. Now the honeymoon is over and service, selection, and the shopping experience is moving towards the old Quebec location. Customer service is in steady decline with employees appearing annoyed that you interrupted them with a question. Fresh food is not lasting to due date, and some items are now consistently out of stock. Prices are the only thing not declining. King Soopers owns this area. What does it say when a customer, in walking distance, begins to look elsewhere for a food store? That may be a condemnation but when they monopolize an area, I guess they think we have no choice. read more
