I thought this store was just fine. I was greeted, I thought the floral section was beautiful. I enjoyed how it was stocked well. I didn't need to shop. But I liked looking around. I stopped for Starbucks and that was fast and good too. read more

Date of visit: February 15, 2025 Really only stopped in here so my friend could get a few lottery tickets from the vending machine to bring back home and was dismayed to see the striking workers outside, really had me not wanting to even step foot inside. Add to that the homeless people directly outside of the doors and this was not a very welcoming experience. The store was in sad shape (guess they do need that union labor after all...) from the shuttered Service Desk to the barely staffed front registers. Not having markdowns on Valentine's Day items the day after the holiday seemed like a big miss as well. Hopefully they can resolve the labor issues soon and get the store back into shape. read more

I went here just to get a flu shot, Lord what a hassle!!! The pharmacy tech was rude, he told me that I made the appointment at the Clinic. I went there and she was dam rude. I will stick with Walmart for my Vaccine!!!! read more

The star score would be 2.5, imo. I've had some pretty good experiences with the employees overall. Sometimes they are out of the most basic of things lately and can go to another nearby King's and they will have plenty, so go figure. Their three level advances of loss prevention is a bit annoying. Rode two buses here, went in and security guard followed me to pet aisle and stood there staring. I went told only person up front that I was going to Safeway. I'm 69, disabled and not there to steal! To hell with them and all their stores. This store was nearly empty as well, recent strike and people boycotting. And this is how they treat the few that go there. If I had more energy left I would have stopped back in on my way home to show them the $60 worth of groceries I bought down the street. Just witnessed the hired security guard pick a fight with a Black woman while letting all the other (white) customers pass by without checking them to see if they stole items. Also, it is so incredibly humiliating to go to this store and have a security man check my cart every single time. Prices keep going up, quality keeps dropping, the store is always a mess, and now i have to have a man that failed out of cop school check to see if his estimate of what a cart of groceries will cost matches the actual prices???? read more

If i can give it a 0 rating i would. I placed a cake order at this King Soopers on the app on Wednesday the 2/25 to be ready Saturday 2/28. I received a confirmation and thought everything was fine. The message when i placed the order said it could even be ready in one day, i of course placed the order two and a half days early. Now today (Friday the 27th) at 4:23pm i receive an email and text saying that my order is cancelled. I called the store to speak to someone in the bakery department to ask them why it was cancelled, someone picked up and transferred me 3 times because no one at the bakery was picking up. I asked to speak to a manager and he told me that he saw "her" back there but that she probably didn't hear the page. He seemed to be on his way back there to get her to answer my call. I was left have on the phone to speak someone for a total of 34 minutes because i hung up. This is totally unacceptable! Now i have to find an alternative. I've been a customer since 1997 and by far this is the worse experience I've ever had with King Soopers. read more

This review is specifically for SHERRY. The most amazing lady that helped me check out today. Organizing your cart, the belt and bagging is an "art" form! She understands it and even gave me pointers for the right order so stuff doesn't get smooshed. LOVE her! She's been with King Soopers 25 years and you can tell. She is so efficient and a multi tasker to the max. We were carrying on a conversation, while she's scanning ANd bagging. It was a breeze to unpack groceries once home. Please promote her, give her a substantial raise AND she should be the lead trainer and manager. 5 stars!!! ***** separate review of the store: 1) Why are all the products constantly rearranged? 2) Why aren't there any organic rotisserie chickens baked? 3) Why is there only one cashier open (even if it is the most amazing and fastest clerk you've got, aka Sherry) at peak times? It's Okay Hey, you pretty much know what to expect with every King Soopers store. Some are on the smaller side and some are larger. This is one is pretty darn spacious. I like that, because I can shop without having someone breathe down my neck to pass me on a narrow aisle. read more

I live within walking distance of the store on Quebec in Central Park so it's my default store. I will say they are doing better about trash in the parking lot but the last five times I went there the shopping cart area was empty. And they no longer have hand baskets, said they were all stolen, but every super market in the neighborhood has them. Today I went in looking for an item and the associate I asked about it said "It's probably in the pharmacy." After telling them I looked there but maybe missed it they said they are probably out then. THAT IS NOT CUSTOMER SERVICE. Someone should have walked with me to the pharmacy and shown me where the item should have been or better yet asked someone else who would know where the item should be. Really wish this store would up their game. read more

I would give zero stars if that was an option. Kroger has made buying groceries a truly insufferable experience and this location is awful. The prices are outrageous; this horrible family is making a fortune off of customers and employees. Locking up the detergent when no one seems to have a key is absolutely ridiculous. There is no "bell to ring for service" so I asked someone who made an announcement and then I waited over 10 minutes and no one ever came. This store has gone downhill from the security guard in the front harassing everybody asking for receipts because everybody steals, lack of friendly customer service, to the mostly empty shelves that have no price tags, and the lack of bags, buggies, hand carts, to the little old ladies that move like molasses and have 6 inch fingernails behind the Customer Service desk. Before the negatives, I want to complement the staff at this store for being almost always helpful and friendly. Given the volume of customers, they should be paid more and given more support. This store has been going downhill in terms of organization and offerings. They maintain a ridiculously large aisle of holiday merchandised garbage and candy. This space could be used for more real food, yet it wasted on junk. They "remodeled" which mostly resulted in moving packaged foods and merchandise to new locations which only results in my frustration. The deli area is most times understaffed. Today I went to get a whole chicken. They only had non-organic, processed, injected whole birds. WTH? During the day the often have only half the self-checkout opened. This location is within walking distance of my home, yet I'm considering starting to drive to Sprouts in Central Park. read more

Staff has always been very nice and helpful, though at times they are understaffed and they do the best they can. I blame Corp bc staffing has been a problem there for years. In the past few months the inventory has suffered, but it seems like most markets are having similar problems. The pharmacy is hit and miss. Nice staff, but turnaround times for refills are slow. I don't know if it is staffing, or what, but it's not ideal. read more

This is the local food supermarket for this area. The stores we went to were organized, clean and very friendly. The only thing was that they do not have a wine section. Coming from Florida, we are spoiled with out Publix Supermarkets. I do believe it's a Colorado legal thing but I'm not sure. I just think it's pretty funny that you can buy Marijuana here but ya can't buy wine in the store. Go figure! Still a great place. read more

whoever was working on February 27 at the gas station at 6:30pm tried to scam me while I paid 40 dollars and I had no cents and he only said I paid 20.54 cents it was around 10 dollars for the snacks and drinks I paid for and I then asked him to put the rest which was 30 dollars on gas pump 5 and it only ended up pumping till 10.17 where'd the rest of my 40 go.While I had zero cents and paid with two 20 dollars bills and he was on his phone not even paying attention and he also had to get a calculator out just to do the math.mind you I went back to ask about it and he said "you only paid with a 20$" it doesn't make sense on the receipt that it says I paid 20.54$ and gave him two 20$ read more

They do not have ANY handheld shopping baskets. I decided not to buy anything, I walked out. I will go somewhere else. I was about to spend at least $50. I'm not sure how much a basket costs but I think that losing a paying customer is worse than paying for a basket. read more

She told the Denver Police Officer that was stationed there to make sure people had their masks on that I was shoplifting. I went to see if they had fettuccine and they didn't, so I was walking out of the store when the cashier stared me down and I watched her tell the cop I was stealing. The cop stopped me at the door and wouldn't let me leave until she searched my purse that NOTHING in it but my laptop, keyboard, mouse, and some paperwork. I spoke with the store manager, and filed a complaint with the company and was told I 'might' get a call back from the store. I WILL NEVER AGAIN SHOP AT KING SOOPERS! They must have moved all the polite employees to the Eastbridge location because I have never seen a larger group of cranky employees in one location than what this place has now. I like King Soopers but I can no longer stand shopping at this location. They are either always understaffed or the employees working are hiding out in the back room someplace. When you finally track someone down to get help finding yet another out of stock item I've been told they don't carry it(when they do) or that all the boxes look the same in the back, that they might have more stocked by tomorrow but not sure, that it's not their department, and let me get a manager and no one comes. The store and parking lot is always dirty, front trash cans over flowing, trash in the buggies at the entrance, and check out lines are always way too long and if the cashier even speaks to me it has been to complain about the prior customers. WTH? Kings main office might want to rethink the management they have in place at this store. No bueno. read more

This store is very disappointing, I was at the salad bar and had to hunt a employee down to bring out some containers...!! No containers at the salad bar, no utensils, and no low fat or fat free dressings...! When I went over to the condiment aisle, I found a very limited assortment of dressings that I am used to finding in most large supermarket chains. I will NEVER come here again. I don't appreciate how the front end cashier manager "Michelle" yelled out to another cashier "Regina, don't take no one else!" As there is literally a line of customers waiting to be checked out. I said out loud.... "How professional!" & she side eyed me like I cared the rest of the time I checked out. Wow. My visit last night confirms how bad this place/ establishment really is. It was a blizzard and crappy weather but I knew I had to get prosciutto for some pizza. I walk up to the counter and ask for a 1/3 of a lbs. The girl looks at me and then asks her coworker where the prosciutto cheese was. I mean really? You work at the deli counter, I would hope you know what that is. I knew it was going to be down hill from there. She cut it and it looked like cold cuts. I explained how thin it should be and she rebutted it would be shavings, which I said was fine. As she was cutting the meat she was talking to her coworker about how lame it is that SO many people were still shopping, don't people have a life, ONLY in Colorado will people shop in this type of blizzard. This is my King Soopers so maybe I'm a little biased. They just finished remodeling the whole store which included adding a sushi station, hot soups, a cheese island with more varieties than you see at Marczyk's. And an overall re-haul of the entire aesthetic of the store. Much easier to navigate and more varieties of everything available for consumers. More self check out lanes for those of us that know who it's supposed to be done. Parking lot can be annoying at times but what parking lot is perfect. Great King Soopers and my neighborhood go to 24 hour market. read more

My least favorite King Soopers in the area. Deli takes forever. There's no logic to the chaos that is the deli line. Plus, which genius put the Little Clinic right by the grocery check out? This is one of the new flagship models for the King Soopers store. They remodeled recently and added a great cheese and olive bar. They have a great selection of organics and great seafood. There is a gas station at this store where you can redeem fuel points. The gas station part is problematic for me because it is always packed and it overflows into the parking lot which makes it a bit hard to manage. read more

I ordered a party pack of Spicy Breaded Wings for the Super Bowl. I placed my order on the Tuesday before. I get there to pick up the wings, I was told that they were discontinued. I waited almost a week to to get these wings. No one called to let me know that they cannot compete my order. Just let me hang out till it is too late to make other arrangements. Screw this place! Store #93  02/10/17  12pm MDT  This was absolutely the worst grocery store experience I've ever had.  I came to do some grocery shopping here yesterday, and have never been so disrespected. It took me about an hour and a half to get everything I needed; before I got to the register, I realized that I had forgotten my debit card out in the car. So I wheeled my full cart to the self-checkout lines and asked the 2 associates standing there to watch my cart while I went to the car to get my debit card. They BOTH agreed, and I went out to retrieve my card.  Not 5 minutes later, I returned for my cart. I walked directly to the self-checkout lines where I had left my cart with the 2 associates, and it was no longer there. Neither were either of the associates. I found someone nearby and asked if they had seen my cart; they said no. So finally, one of the associates who had promised to watch my cart while I was gone to grab my debit card came back. I asked him what happened to the cart he promised to watch, and he literally simply shrugged. I asked him again, this time with MUCH less patience in my voice; I was pushing being late for work, and didn't have the time for the BS. He answered that "someone" had taken my cart, and had begun to put my items back. I IMMEDIATELY became heated, and told him to call his manager ASAP.  The manager came, and as it turns out, it was him (the manager), Carlos, that made the call on putting my groceries back. He literally admitted this to me. Apparently, he assumed that since I was Black and/or didn't look like I "belonged" in the area, that I was just ditching my groceries because I couldn't pay for them. When he came to me, he was IMMEDIATELY argumentative. He did not once let me get a clear sentence out without interrupting me. Clearly he needs some kind of sensitivity training to be able to properly deal with women and other minorities, specifically racial minorities. Clearly, he could also use training on how to properly train his employees, and also how to properly enforce store policy, if what he was saying was indeed store policy.  He accused me of abandoning my groceries (that I had JUST spent almost 2 hours gathering) and said that I was gone too long according to store policy. So I asked him what that store policy was; he couldn't answer. I then stated that I was only gone for 5 minutes to retrieve my debit card, and asked what the "policy" on tampering with someone's groceries was; I kid you not, he literally said, "5 minutes." This is when I lost my sh*t. I told him that he was a bold faced liar, and that he only said 5 minutes was the time limit because that's how long I said that I was gone; I then told him that if it was "store policy" for employees to not accept carts to watch them for a customer, then he should've properly trained them to not do so when he hired them. Not only had they taken my cart and put back all of the items I had spent hours gathering, they removed my PERSONAL belongings from the cart WITHOUT MY PERMISSION, and left them on the floor, out in the open, for anyone to come by and take. UNACCEPTABLE!  The manager began to wildly motion with his hands as he was speaking, and raised his voice at me in a clear attempt to intimidate me into leaving. But I wasn't leaving until I got the information to report him to his superiors. I will also be following up with the FTC and BBB to make formal complaints against this manager and this facility. It is 2017. Racism and stereotyping is SO 1917. It's no one's fault but YOUR OWN that you're not smart enough to be able to transition to this decade.  I will NEVER step foot in this location again. In the end, I had to redo the 2 hours of grocery shopping at a different store, which, in turn, made me EXTREMELY late for work, and wasted 2 more hours of my time. read more

Corporate must have been here today! The store was unusually organized, cleaner and just overall de-cluttered. Usually this store is a disaster, shopping carts all over the parking lot and usually I can't wait to get out of here.
