Prices on DoorDash are a bit inflated but the menu prices for what we ordered were a large fattoush salad ($14.20) and the lunch special lamb shawarma wrap (11.99) which came with an ample helping of fries and a drink. Without a doubt the lunch special is the way to go. The shawarma was huge (we split it) and were stuffed. The salad was delicious as well; we both agreed we loved the dressing which was peppery and lemony. Everything tasted extremely fresh. It's a large menu so I'm excited to try more from it. Obviously there's no shortage of middle eastern places in southeast Michigan but this place stood out as being one of my favorites. Would definitely recommend.

The "crunchy" pita chips on the salad were ruined. Got a chicken shawarma. The chicken was bland, pale, and mushy like you'd have for a chicken salad. Full of flavor. The hummus came in second. Unfortunately, the garlic sauce was disappointing. It was oily and oddly enough lacked flavor. The garlic was very very subtle. We started to look for another restaurant as Anaam's looked like it was only carry-out. But, we saw a couple booths, so we decided to go in. It was around 3:15 -- an odd time for a meal -- so we were the only customers there. But, the cook (possibly the owner?) and the server were extremely friendly and weloming. They even told us to treat the place like home -- so my sister helped suggest where to put some Halloween decorations! My sister had the chicken shawarma and I had Natalie's Favorite Pita. It took about 10 minutes for these huge, hot, fresh delicious sandwiches to be prepared. We each could only eat half, so we wrapped up our leftovers -- and they brought us boxes to put them in! Finding this place was a happy accident. :)
