So so good!!! I…read moremistakenly thought this was a table service restaurant, but in reality you order at the counter (or kiosk) and your food will come to your table. I ordered the chicken gyro which had onion, feta, tzatziki, and tomato. I should have asked for the tzatziki on the side as it was loaded on, but the chicken was hot and fresh and I would definitely get it again. I liked the casual atmosphere, and it was very clean inside.

The staff kind of pushed us to use the kiosk, which is probably a good move, since it shows specials that are not in the menu board. I ordered a Greek salad with an extra chicken kabob and a side of gyro meat. The salad was awesome, the chicken kabob was very fresh, they mounded in the gyro meat, which was very nice. My wife got a chicken gyro and enjoyed it, but said she would get the sauce on the side the next time. The portions were huge, so it justified the prices. The dining room was clean and staff were friendly. The bathroom could have used a bit more attention, but was functional. Overall a pretty good experience. We will definitely come back for another try soon.

I'm so glad to see them surviving in the humble Little town of Hartland, Michigan. Everything from the soups, to the salads to the sides, and the main dishes is so flavorful. We started to look for another restaurant as Anaam's looked like it was only carry-out. But, we saw a couple booths, so we decided to go in. It was around 3:15 -- an odd time for a meal -- so we were the only customers there. But, the cook (possibly the owner?) and the server were extremely friendly and weloming. They even told us to treat the place like home -- so my sister helped suggest where to put some Halloween decorations! My sister had the chicken shawarma and I had Natalie's Favorite Pita. It took about 10 minutes for these huge, hot, fresh delicious sandwiches to be prepared. We each could only eat half, so we wrapped up our leftovers -- and they brought us boxes to put them in! Finding this place was a happy accident. :)
