They were ruined. I had to eat the sausage, egg, and potato to satisfy my hunger. I'm not sure who is in the kitchen, but they need to pay attention because its easy to overcook shrimp. The whole meal is ruined after that.

They have a few TVs and a full bar. They haven't set up where you order at the counter and pick your food up at another counter. However, I stood at the order counter for a good 5-10 minutes and no one vet came over. I could see one girl just walking around and even stepped out for a smoke and another one at the bar on her phone with no customers. I finally walked around to the side and asked how can I place my order. A young man finally came around to take my order. I got the 3 catfish filets with fries and the 6 piece fried oysters with fries ( don't usually eat fried food but felt like it). I too the fried fish to my mom and I ate the oysters. The fish was rather tough as if it were way overcooked. My mom was chewing it as if it were chicken or steak. I tried it myself and yes it's overcooked. Has decent flavor but does matter when it's tough fish. The oysters were crisp and tender though (pretty good). The French fries are decent, the fry technique seems as if it has batter or something on it but had seasoning. I was very hopeful but won't be back .

It's located in a mostly empty strip center on Dairy Ashford with plenty of parking. The inside is bright and clean. I got the 3 piece chicken (with mashed potatoes and gravy) dinner - dark meat (3.5/5) came out piping hot, which I loved. It was very crispy and the breading is not super thick. The seasoning on the breading was good but the chicken itself probably could have been marinated longer. The mashed potatoes (2/5) were very reminiscent of Popeyes but the gravy was more water-y. Will try a different side next time. Also tried the fried shrimp (3/5) and fish (4/5) and the fish stayed piping hot until the end of the meal. It was a good piece of fried fish for sure! Both baskets came with a roll. This was one of those grocery store dinner rolls so didn't add anything to the meal. They fried the shrimp and fish (maybe chicken) to order, so it took ~10 min to get our food. Give this place a try!

So much so that my friend only ate a few of them. I tried one of the oysters and spit it out immediately because the breading tasted burnt to me. Thirdly, the young lady who took our order was rude and not very personable. She was on the phone while we're trying to decide what we wanted to order. After we placed our order and sat down at our table, we could hear on the phone. At one point, she called who ever she was on the phone with, the B word. Hoping that I misheard what was said, I asked my friend what did she hear? She heard the same thing. Fourthly, I got cocktail sauce to go with my shrimp. It lacked flavor so I tasted my friend's spicy remoulade and it was good. I went up and asked if I could get some of that and was annoyed that they wanted to charge me for it. We received the shrimp & crab relatively fast; perfect texture and flavor. Everything was juicy and easy to peel. Our server forgot our 4lb crawfish order probably because we had been talking flavors etc no biggie it was fixed quickly..... however after our crawfish was rush ordered it came out with dark red shells that were super hard. Generally this is from it being served right after its required boil cook time and NOT soaking for the additional 20-30 minutes needed to soften the shells and soak up the flavor. The crawfish were extremely difficult to peel and many stuck the inside of the shells another indication that it wasn't post soaked. I asked the server to ask the kitchen if our batch had been post soaked or straight from the boiler... he came back letting me know that they told him "well it's the end of the season and that's probably why they're OFF".... this response is utterly insane to me as we eat crawfish several times a week allllllll through the season and 3 places just in last 7 days and they were easy to peel and around the same size as these. It's not the servers fault at all; he offered to bring something else but my husband was already fighting his way through the bag and after the horrible excuse from the kitchen I'm just gonna stop somewhere else on the way home. I'm not ok with wasted food or money as crawfish is a waste when it's stuck in the shells. Please post soak your crawfish as it's such an easy fix. It being June and the end of season IS NO EXCUSE Crab and shrimp 10/10 Crawfish 2/10 Service 9/10
