people sitting in a bowling alley
    Larry L.

Bowling, Birthday cake, and good times! My son wanted to go bowling for his birthday so I stop in KingPin to see about renting lanes. Once I got in though, I saw that they have party rooms that you can rent for a more intimate setting. So this is where the story gets a little strange for me. I was first greeted and trying to get information about the party room from Eric. He seemed reluctant to give such info, kind of bs'ing me. So after a few minutes I dealing with him I got somewhere with getting a name to talk to someone above him. I started to leave when the person he said I needed to talk to walk past me. I spoke to her, Mary, about what I wanted. She graciously help me and made it seem as though he could have done what she was doing instead of being.......... Eric was trying to tell her some bs policy he was told about booking a party the day before. He almost caused them to miss out on some money. Oh well, Mary got it straightened out. Well the time of the party was met. They provide a Party Coordinator, to oversee everything from issuing out bowling shoes, setting up lanes, ordering the food, and whatever else they can assist with at the bowling alley. Our guy, Dave, did a wonderful job at that and was friendly and helpful the whole time. The bowling lane that the kids bowled on had a light issue where the pins sat. The guys came and fix it after pausing the bowling for like 5 minutes. They just added time that the kids could bowl longer. I wanted to rate this place lower but I'm not going to be pretty because of one person. Everyone else was awesome, the party set up was what I expected, and the food provided by them was really good. If you're looking for a place to have a big gathering, this might be a good option to look into.

Its December 27, Tuesday they have 1 poor woman working the desk. We counted up to 10 empty and have been waiting for over 30 minutes. Luckily we got something to eat and the food was amazing. I highly recommend the three cheese hamburger!!! Place is clean but poorly managed.

stopped in during our mini trip. the staff was VERY nice and accommodating. great prices as well. will definitely be back on our future trip!

Visiting the area during the winter and needed something to do with the family. Old school bowling alley with arcade, bar, food, and pool tables.

I've been there many times and the bartenders are always friendly and helpful. I like the fun and relaxing lighting in the brewery. They have two floors each with their own bar and bartenders. I've normally seen the upstairs bar open when it's busy season and during the summer. The beer flavors are light and refreshing. No matter the type of beer I never feel that it's heavy or too filling. They have a little bit everything - pilsners, stouts, sours, shandy and ipas. They offer flights as well. My wife doesn't like beers, but really likes the shandy. It's very family and pet friendly. You can also bring food to eat and snack on. Definitely check this place out if you're in the area and want a fun family friendly location while enjoying a refreshing, light beer!

For beer, they have a wide variety of options & seasonal specials, so there's something for everyone. They also sell nonalcoholic craft sodas. I opted for a beer flight & got to choose my own 4 options. Everything I tried was very nice & I will definitely be back to try out some more. There was only one server, but she was on the ball with everyone's orders & happy to answer any questions.

PRIDE, PORK CHOPS & PURE JOY AT BYRDCAGE ATLANTIC CITY…read more Atlantic City was absolutely glowing this weekend during the Atlantic City Great Pride Festival at O'Donnell Park near Stockton University. More than 1,000 people were expected to attend, and the energy was incredible--music, dancing, laughter, and love everywhere you looked. Just two short blocks from the festival at 3426 Atlantic Avenue sits one of Atlantic City's true gems: Byrdcage Atlantic City. I stopped in throughout the day to cool off, enjoy some mimosas and other refreshing low-alcohol beverages, hydrate, and eventually have dinner. From the moment I walked in, I immediately got why this place has such a loyal following. First, the cleanliness deserves its own paragraph. I have visited restaurants all over the country, and I honestly don't remember seeing an establishment this spotless. The interior and exterior were immaculate. Not a spot of dust. Even during one of the busiest days of the year, the restrooms remained roomy, pristine, and exceptionally clean. The atmosphere is equally impressive. The décor is whimsical, fun, and carefully curated with fascinating photos and memorabilia everywhere you look. Outside, colorful murals create the perfect backdrop for photos and add even more personality to an already vibrant space. And then there was dinner. My server, Isabella, was friendly, attentive, and incredibly efficient. She even arranged for a dinner entrée to be served before dinner service had officially begun, and I was so grateful she did. I ordered the Seoul Mate Sizzle Pork Chop Platter, and wow. A beautifully grilled bone-in pork chop glazed in a sweet and savory sauce and served over fresh pineapple salsa, alongside creamy herb rice and perfectly cooked vegetables including broccoli, zucchini, onions, mushrooms, and carrots. The pork chop was tender, juicy, and packed with flavor, and the pineapple salsa took it to another level. It was one of those meals where you intentionally slow down because you don't want it to end. And the music? The music made me dance almost all day and well into the night. There was something happening everywhere--at the Pride Festival, downstairs, and upstairs on the dance floor. The DJs absolutely nailed it. Great music, great energy, and great people. I honestly lost track of time because I was having so much fun. Management was everywhere--engaged, attentive, and laser-focused on every detail of the operation. The entire team worked together seamlessly to create something special. More than anything, Byrdcage felt like what every establishment should aspire to be: a safe space filled with kindness, inclusion, acceptance, and pure joy. It was family-friendly, welcoming to everyone, and simply fun. I even bought a Byrdcage shirt at the festival because this is exactly the kind of local business I enjoy supporting. If you're visiting Atlantic City, don't just come for the casinos. Come for experiences like this. Come for the people. Come for the music. Come hungry. Come ready to dance. And absolutely make time for Byrdcage Atlantic City. I'll be back. #ByrdcageAtlanticCity #AtlanticCity #AtlanticCityNJ #AtlanticCityPride #GreatPrideFestival #Pride #LGBTQIA #LoveIsLove #InclusiveSpaces #SafeSpace #YelpElite #Foodie #PorkChopPerfection #Mimosas #DanceAllDay #DanceAllNight #SupportLocal #FamilyFriendly #RestaurantReview #AtlanticCityEats #VisitAtlanticCity #JerseyShore #StocktonUniversity #ODonnellPark #OrangeLoop #EatLocal #ACNJ #PrideCelebration #GoodVibesOnly #PureJoy #AtlanticCityBoardwalk #BeachVibes

My girlfriend and I were there on a Saturday night for the first time and there were only about 20 people plus a few dogs. Mostly regulars as they all had their mug club beer glasses. We each had a flight and a regular pint. Nice variety in the taplist, including a maibock, an imperial IPA, a porter, a blueberry wheat, a saison, etc. The beers we had were all pretty good with one notable exception: the Philly Dilly. I love dill pickles and was intrigued, but quickly found out there is a reason you don't see pickle beers at any other breweries in NJ. This thing was vile. The stuff of nightmares. Try it for the novelty if you have to, but otherwise avoid at all costs.
