R4. Orange Chicken

Wow. This place is incredible. Food came out fast and everything was fresh and flavorful. The fact that the noodles are handmade is unreal. I never thought I'd find an Asian restaurant that I love in Waco. This rivals what I had back home in Southern California. That takes a lot for me to say, please trust me lol. We had spicy wontons, orange chicken, Mongolian beef, and the flat sliced noodles. My only critique is that the wontons had little filling and the Mongolian beef was a little too salty for my taste. It was also pretty warm inside. I wish the AC was cranked up a bit more. Staff was kind and very quick/attentive. We can't wait to come back and try everything else!!

They have hand stretched noodles & these are of perfect texture, perfect flavor, perfect consistency. I would sum it up with: PERFECTION!

The service was prompt, the food was an easy 10 out of 10. Would definitely recommend if you're looking for a non-cookie cutter experience!

This place was really good. Service was super nice and even gave us a calendar after the meal. Loved the tea with my meal and the soup was awesome. The spicy dumplings were tasty! The soup dumplings were ok, too much dough for me compared to other places that specialize in these. Needed more broth inside. I'd definitely go back and enjoy more ramen! It was cool seeing the chef in the back making the noodles fresh. Major plus in my books!

It is a Waco 4, a California 2. Good noodles, soup lacked strong flavor for me. Cucumbers were crunchy. I am a more vinegar and sesame oil than soy, but it maybe tomato tomato thing.

Their broccoli beef with fried rice is a HIT!

Food is great and fresh. Their noodles are made in house. The service is fast. Highly recommend if you're around. I went back. I got the stir fried noodles and broccoli beef with fried rice. Their fried rice is a HIT!

King Noodle caught my eye, so I decided to give it a try! I am very pleased with my experience and the food!!! When I went, I was immediately greeted and seated, my waitress, Kenny, was very welcoming, attentive and friendly. The calmness of the atmosphere made it easy to sit and enjoy my food there. I ordered shrimp tempura, Mongolian beef with a side of fried rice, and all of it was absolutely amazing. The flavor & texture! The shrimp tempura breading/crust was so crispy, and The Mongolian beef and fried rice were mixed and seasoned to perfection. I finished all of my food feeling very fulfilled.

The place is very clean and the staff is nice but I was very disappointed in the soup dumplings, which is what I want for. The dough was also extremely sick.

A Waco gem for Asian food, all of our dishes were delicious and we were particularly impressed with the Hibachi Chicken and the hand cut Stir Fry Noodles. Quick and friendly lunch service in a clean and modern environment.

The sesame chicken was not very good, very bland and flavorless. I never leave reviews but had to for this dish

I've been knowing about this place for years, but as of recent years I have started eating here…read more There's not many Thai places in Waco, but I would say that this is one of the best Thai places you'll find in Waco. I've been able to try a few of their dishes, like the Pad Kee Mao, and as of recently, their Pad Thai, which I had with shrimp. Every time I've had food from them I have been very impressed. There are foods that I would have been hesitant to try in the past because of unfamiliarity, but thanks to how they make everything taste, I'm eager to try everything. I really love their shrimp pad Thai. It was the best pad Thai that I've had so far! I'm not a huge dessert fan, but they have nice desserts such as the banoffee and fruit sando. If you are a banana pudding lover or a fruity dessert lover, I recommend you try that. They also have great appetizers as well!

There are a few tables and chairs that are clean though a bit uncomfortable. Service was great - everyone working was really friendly! They had a dessert banoffee pie in a cup that was fantastic. As for my meal, I ordered the green curry with tofu and veggies. It was incredibly sweet. This is my go-to order, and I've never had one this sweet. It wasn't pleasant. It was also unclear if it was vegetarian or not (with fish sauce or not). My boyfriend got a noodle dish and really enjoyed it! I would say it's hit or miss - with the other options in the food court, I may try something different if I return!

The garlic chicken was a little too salty for me, but my wife didn't have any complaints. They start you out with some wonton chip like items with sweet and sour sauce. The crab puffs are honestly the best I think I have had and the egg drop soup was pretty good too. Honestly, the prices are great for what you get. We ordered a lot of food and it was right at $53...would have been more elsewhere. The service is super friendly and attentive and the ambiance is a little tight but not bad on a Sunday for lunch. I will say it would get crowded pretty easily, but it's worth going to!

But, I must say, that the combination soup, which had shrimp and chicken and veggies and more was delicious. And, the pu pu platter was absolutely a meal in itself and excellent value, very tasty, and something I will definitely order again soon. I appreciated that they included, without my request, soy, hot mustard, and duck sauce, along with several bags of very tasty and crispy chips for the soup. I thought it was good value too.

I got the hojicha with oat milk, no sugar, regular ice and matcha strawberry (that was da bomb!). They were also able to accommodate my hubs who can't have dairy or sugar! He got a jasmine green tea iced and he was very happy. BUT what really made this trip so special was the yummy eats we got to go with our drinks. We got pan fried veg mandoo, bbq pork steamed bao, and green onion pancake. I grew up spending the weekends in Flushing, Queens eating these type of snacks and boy, eating these brought me back to those good times!

Drink: I ordered a large peach green tea with boba, no ice,…read moreand it was fantastic. The tea was brewed beautifully , fresh, balanced, and not syrupy sweet like some other boba spots. The boba itself was perfectly chewy and just sweet enough to complement the drink, not overpower it. I also really appreciated that, even with no ice, they filled my cup completely to the top. Simple, thoughtful detail and it makes all the difference. Service: The staff here was genuinely kind and patient. I asked a few questions about sweetness levels and tea bases (I'm mindful about sugar intake), and they answered every one with care, no judgment, no pressure, no upselling. They made the drink exactly how I ordered it and didn't try to push other menu options on me. That respect and attentiveness go such a long way. Ambiance: Cha Community has such a warm, creative vibe, red brick walls, cozy coffeehouse energy, indie music, local art, and stickers that make the space feel personal and loved. The whole café smelled amazing, and you can tell they've put heart into the details. It's the kind of place that feels like a little pocket of calm and connection in the middle of the day. Overall: Highly recommend stopping here if you're in Waco. The experience was night and day, proof that quality, care, and consistency matter more than anything else. Refer to my Poppa Bear review if you want the comparison, but honestly, just come to Cha Community first.
