I remember when staying at a Hampton Inn was looking forward to THE MOST comfy, cushy, luxurious…read morebeds in the hotel world. Those beds were something else! Pillowtop plush with puffy pampering pillows. It's been a while since I stayed at a Hampton property, so when I booked this reservation, I was thinking I'd be welcomed back into that comfy, cushy, luxurious world of slumber. Sadly, the modern version that I got was NOTHING like the past version. The room felt dated, or outdated. The bed was decently comfortable, but nothing like those memories of mine. The pillows were even less. The toilet was VERY low. Like sitting in your toddler grandchild's teatime chair. And the bedframe legs are definite big 'toe stubber's. I hit my toes on the bed legs several times. That said, I got an okay night's sleep. And SLEEP is the ENTIRE reason for hotels. The number ONE deterrent from gaining a good night's sleep is usually the room air quality. Cold or hot. I had to set the air conditioning at 70 degrees to remain comfortable. It sure did not feel like 70 degrees. Believe me, there were no icicles hanging from the ceiling. The 3rd floor hallway just outside my door was quite warm, too. The second deterrent to a restful stay is noise. The room was quiet OTHER than the a/c. That machine was rather loud. The ON and OFF cycling of the a/c was distracting and sleep disturbing. I hate to sound picky, but for a review to be helpful, one must be honest. Overall, an ok stay but NOT Hampton perfect.

This place is filled with black mold. I was booked to stay here by my company and it smelled…read morehorrific. Additionally, the area is not safe and has multiple homeless people around the cars. It's not gated either. To protect themselves, they have a sign saying "if you lose your belongings or someone breaks into your car, we are not responsible". I was so worried for my car. Also, the place is infested with ants that roam inside the bread in the breakfast. I didn't come close to the breakfast again. Another point is that I had to change rooms 3 times and still they all smelled horrible. This mold in the photos poses a huge health risk and needs to be fixed asap before allowing humans to stay in there and breathe this air. Bedsheets and towels filled with other people's hair that showed how unhygienic this place is. The pillows smelled like human body odor and it was impossible to be near them. I could not last here one day. Staff at the desk at least are nice and helpful. I can say I am always thankful to them. Overall, I don't recommend this place at all if you care about your health. This are other hotels in the area that are better options. There is no standard at this place and the company only cares to take their money, but not what happens to the people after they stay here.

Really great seafood restaurant in Hudson, Florida. We started with a half dozen raw oysters, which…read morewere excellent, and then ordered the Sailor's Platter. Crab legs, fried shrimp, fried clam strips, and a side. Basically, a little bit of everything from the ocean. Everything was really good, and there was definitely no shortage of food. Now, here's the funny part. We went to a seafood restaurant, ordered a bunch of seafood, and somehow the thing I'm still thinking about is the chicken orzo soup. Hands down the best chicken orzo soup I've ever had. Seriously, I would go back just for the soup. Not sure how a bowl of chicken soup managed to steal the show from an entire platter of seafood, but it did. Another nice surprise is their lunch menu. As long as you order before 5 PM, you can take advantage of the lower lunch prices. Apparently, lunch lasts until 5 in Hudson, and I'm perfectly fine with that. All around a great experience. Excellent seafood, generous portions, and chicken orzo soup that has absolutely no business being that good. Definitely worth a visit. Just don't skip the soup!

Most recently, we celebrated our 17th wedding anniversary with a delicious meal and cocktails on a beautiful Florida evening. Hubs had his usual- the surf and turf and I had the scallops, shrimp, and grouper special in a lemon wine sauce- so good! Try it when you're in the area- it's worth the trip!

During what has been a very difficult time for our family, the hotel staff made a meaningful difference in our experience. Charmaine consistently went above and beyond to ensure we had everything we needed at breakfast and always took the time to check on how we were doing. Her kindness, compassion, and genuine concern were greatly appreciated. I would also like to recognize Beth, James, Kelly, and the housekeeping staff who cleaned our room daily. They were always attentive, professional, and accommodating. They worked with us as we needed to extend our stay and made sure we had everything necessary to be comfortable during our time away from home. Their exceptional customer service, empathy, and dedication helped make a challenging situation a little easier to bear. We are truly grateful for the care and support they showed our family throughout our stay.

The crew were super nice the entire time! The room was just gorgeous! Lots of space, the TV works, bigger bathroom - took time to figure out how to turn off the shower knob, but my husband, Chuck, figured it out. Ryan was super helpful with food recommendations, too. Love the chez chairs and loved that there was an elevator. There was a small fridge but the freezer was big enough for the ice packs. And two sinks! Perfect for the both of us! I enjoyed the free parking for the hotel and it was easy to get to from our friend's house. Would definitely recommend this hotel in the future.
