I chose King Laundry because the reviews were good and when I called to ask a question the person who answered the phone was professional and friendly. Staff were very helpful and the machines were clean. Staff were constantly cleaning the whole time I was there. Not much in the area to see or do so I just waited inside the laundromat. The main issue was customers hogging the carts and a few rude people. Some customers do use the same carts to bring in their dirty laundry and then those same carts are used to take clean laundry out of the machine (this is not the fault of the staff). I paid with my credit card. You tap the machine to start it and they authorize $17. On my credit card bill I was only charged $9 for the cost of doing my laundry and they never actually charged the $17. They do have a sign explaining this. They sell laundry detergent and other laundry products in the vending machine at very reasonable cost. I've used lots of laundromats in my life and this one was clean and the machines were modern and they have various sizes of washing machines including really large ones. The issues at laundromats are normally with customers and there is only so much management and staff can do. I'd return here. read more

10/5 This is my new favorite laundry might to go to. I've been to many many. He has a 10-minute drive for me and he is well worth it. Washing machines work like a dream. My clothes actually smell clean and not moldy or mildewy. And I cannot say how much I appreciate a laundromat that actually has high heat on high TRULY low heat on low. And HASNT DISABLED the no heat function. Finally a laundromat where I can do my delicates and stretchy items as well as my everyday normal clothing at one location And not have to worry that my leggings won't fit afterwards or my shirts will be two sizes too small. The owner is extremely friendly, very prompt and I can tell by the conversations we have had. He cares about his business and his customers which is also a rarity here in Los Angeles. They are not that expensive. I honestly think they are comparable to the laundromats near me that have not upgraded their stuff. Do not have all of the amenities that this place has when it comes to the settings on the washers and dryers. Jo, they're competitive and even if they weren't and were more expensive than the places closer to me, I would still come here because my clothes don't come out damaged and ruined. Not to mention because of their extra spin cycle and brand new equipment. My clothes do not take an hour and a half to dry. Last time I was there my clothes took 25 to 30 minutes to dry and that was cycling between low heat and medium heat. You just don't find that type of efficiency in 95% of the laundromats in this area or anywhere really. 10/5 read more

I am giving it a 3 out 5 because if u pay with Apple Pay they literally charge u 17$ every machine . Since this was my first time I was shocked . Then had to ask the worker why it charged me $17 dollars. . Second the touch system was not working for the dryers had to press it down really hard. Third I had a bag full of quarters couldn't find a kiosk that accepted my change. So if ur coming here for the first time make sure you use a preloaded card . Lastly I felt like the machines didn't leave my clothes smelling like fresh Persil. It kinda left a dirty mop water smell . So yeah I was not big fan of. I am not sure if I will return . Not going to lie I did save my self 30 minutes but I wasn't sold completely. (I do not work for a competitor) sadly u can't take a review but it's an honest review based on my experience . I really liked the cleanliness and friendly customer service here! The gentleman that was working 9/11/2025 in the late afternoon was incredibly friendly, was constantly offering customers help and support using the machines, as well as cleaning every single inch of the facility. Even after I noticed the temporary hold on my card (I totally should have read the sign), he was so polite and helpful explaining it would be returned to my card within a couple of hours, and he was correct. Absolutely not. Depending upon your bank, the electronic payment reader on each washer/dryer will charge you $5.00 MORE than what the machine says it costs for a "hold". For instance, I just got charged $9.75 for a $4.75 cycle. Putting in my second load in a different machine, the card reader wanted to charge me $11.25 for a $6.25 cycle so I cancelled it. Now I'm taking my wet towels to dry somewhere else. What a lame laundromat. Go somewhere else. Literally any other laundromat will do. read more
