The personnel at the customer service desk in Walmart Middle Island could use extensive training on how to be professional and treat customers with respect and dignity. Not only are the people who shop there the reason as to why this location remains open but the likelihood of me returning to this location are little to none. Customer care goes a long way in every aspect of business. As a long term shopper in the Walmart stores nationwide I would like to think this corporation takes customer care to another level due to the overall success in the Walmart chain.

"Disappointed by a Normally Great Experience"…read more I've always enjoyed stopping by Sunny Farms for lunch and usually have a good experience. However, today was disappointing. I was in a rush during my lunch hour and didn't notice until a few minutes later that I was charged $6.99 for a single bottle of water--not a case. Fortunately, I wasn't far and went back with my receipt and the bottle. What left me unsettled wasn't just the mistake, but how the return was handled. The receipt was snatched from my hands and crumpled, and though I was told I would get $7.40 back, I was initially handed only $5.40. When I questioned it, the cashier turned around, pulled out the $2, and handed it over, explaining the process as if I had misunderstood something. No apology was offered for either the overcharge or the mix-up with the refund. I get that mistakes happen--we're all human--but customer service is about how those mistakes are handled. This time, it missed the mark. I'll continue to shop here, but I'll definitely be double-checking receipts moving forward.

A lot of times their shelves are a mess, but I like the selection so if I have to search for the tuna in oil mixed in with the tuna in water then so be it lol I did pickup once or twice but it's not my favorite. Not anything to do with Shop Rite but just in general it's not my fave but sometimes convenient. What's usually inconvenient about curbside in general is the item replacements and if no replacement you just don't get anything. Maybe I need a little more practice with curbside. The inconvenience is that if I get home and realize something is missing I have to go back out anyway so I might as well do my own shopping. But like I said, it's just sometimes a thing with other people doing your shopping in general. Oh -- and watch those gnarly speed bumps! I'd rather park really far and just walk. But I've always been happy with PJ Shop Rite and their prices aren't bad compared to say King Kullen

When you walk into the store there is a sign of items and prices and they compare them to some of the other markets in the area which is always good to see. Another plus is that they are open till Midnight and it's close to home. A year later and I'm obsessed with this super market. It's very clean and the customer service is always amazing. My son loves coming here to watch the lobsters. The seafood department always comes out with a Wegmans hat to give him and let him touch a lobster. The deli department is always nice. I love the meats from the meat section and the butcher. I love the organic everything they have it's always fresh and reasonable. The Bakery department is my other favorite part of the store. I never tried any of their cooked food. Except the sushi station. No complaints there. I tried many of their store bands and so far so good, except the cheese. It doesn't melt for some reason. I never had any issues at any of the department. From ordering Groceries from the app to looking for coupons, the app is great at navigating it all. There are a few brands that Wegmans does not sell so sometimes I still have to branch out to another market. But for our main supermarket Wegmans is it.

There's no point of using the service you might as well pick the food out yourself not to mention some of the fruit especially the halos and other oranges are horrible and tasting bland. They don't do a quality check, they don't test the vegetables to see how they are. They just sell them that's all they care about.

If Stop & Shop expects customers to spend their week traveling from store to store chasing down promotions, it would be great if that were mentioned somewhere. As it stands, the experience was disappointing, unhelpful, and frankly pretty frustrating. I filled out the survey at the bottom of my receipt & requested that someone contact me by email. The survey indicated I would receive a response within 7 business days. Today is 4/26/26, I am fairly certain we are beyond that timeframe---yet another failure on their part.

I spoke with a staff member and then the manager, explained the situation, and they immediately stepped up. OR Stop & Shop Rocky Pt..formerly Waldbaums, formerly Foodtown, NOW Stop & Shop..with same cranky staff who have survived 2 turnovers. So Stop & Shop Miller Place is my go to. Hate that parking is always a nightmare, but I know it's because we are all shopping in the same place. It's clean. They are always restocking, unlike RP location where shelves are empty of sale items. Good deli, good bakery, friendly helpful staff, the low prices Stop & Shop has to offer.
