No Name Soft Serve
Giovanna G.

King Kone is the best ice cream shop around! Not only do they have EVERY flavor, topping, and sundae combination, but the staff is great as well. It is apparent why there is a long line all the time. It is a very cute stand with some tables to sit at and adorable murals on the sides. There is also lots of parking which is useful as well. They have so many unique combinations and always have different specials. The worst part about it...trying to decide what to order!

Woot!!! No Name dessert is the way to go!!!! Try it - yum!!! It's big, but not huge. You can do it!! Just eat it! Enjoy your life!! Live!!

The no name, massive!!!

This place was darn cute. We were recommended to come here by our waitress at Maple City Tap. She recommended the "no name" sundae and it did not disappoint. My parents shared the extra large item and enjoyed it! Reasonable price of $4.99 when you see the size! 2.5 sundaes in one-plus a cone. I ordered a small turtle sundae. Perfect size and cute packaging with polka dot cups. Flavorful creamy soft serve and adequate toppings! The exterior is darn cute with multiple bright paint colors and cute art. They have the pictures of the staff on a board which is a nice way to get to know the crew. The staff was friendly and explained the items and sizes. The music was a bit loud by the seating area, but adequate seating in the small area! I would absolutely go back and try something new next time!

Half size smores sundae!

Oh King Kone is just so wonderful. If you are looking for a giant, creative sundae, this place is for you! Each time I go, I am blown away by the kindness and enthusiasm of the workers. They are so happy to help everyone! Plus, this little ice cream shop is such a blessing to the community. The last time I was there, I had the half size smores sundae and it was still pretty big! It was incredibly tasty and the marshmallows on top were toasted! My boyfriend had the full size peanut butter cup sundae and he really enjoyed it. You definitely get a great amount of ice cream for the price!

Through word of mouth I have heard how good the ice cream is here and boy was everyone right. This little ice cream stand in Chardon is fantastic. There menu and the number of different flavors is mind blowing. My wife had the hiltopper sundae, the half size. The sundae was vanilla soft serve, strawberry topping, a chocolate dip coating, and whipped cream. She said it was absolutely delicious. I had the peanut butter cup sundae, half size. It had peanut butter cup ice cream, hot fudge, peanut butter sauce, Reese's peanut butter cups, and whipped cream. This sundae was definitely packed with peanut butter and chocolate flavor. My son had a twist in a waffle cone with sprinkles. He loved the ice cream which was HUGE. as he kept joking it was like 3 gallons of cold creamy goodness. Overall a great experience. The ice had good flavor and was a good price. I highly recommend coming here and will surely be back.

So good you wear it, your car seat wears it, everywhere but the floor wears it lol.

Ok I know what you're thinking it's ice cream and who doesn't love ice cream...gotcha. Here's the thing - there's Hershey's hard pack ice cream, their soft serve, frosty style malts, sundaes, flurries I mean I'm still going. They have food too and snacks - but I didn't get there. I made it to actually a second cone I split with my hubby - all smalls...he took lactaid just to come here that's how good it is. And really the kids cones - HUGE - the small cones they are the size of other people's large - and that is why they are KING!!! The service you get - the lines don't stay lines. The service you get when you don't know what to get - they make suggestions, they tell you what's so great - it helps you. The service who understands you have to run the kid cones to the car before coming back for yours and the hubby. The service who smiles, thanks you, reminds you for napkins. The service who doesn't judge when you come back for round 2 in the same trip. That's why they're King!

My dogs sweet treats! Only a dollar

Amazing!! I love ice cream amd with the weather being like its been. This was exactly what I needed. This place is always packed. But, the staff know what they're doing so you rarely wait. We were even able to pick up some treats for our dogs!! They loved it. If you're put this way, definitely worth the stop.

What's in the no name?

It's a chocolate dipped vanilla soft serve with pretzels and I think a caramel swirl/drizzle but it might be butterscotch.

I live in Texas, but my husband works in Mentor, and has been telling me about Scooter's World's…read moreFamous Dawg House for weeks now. This weekend, I visited him and when he asked where I wanted to eat, I said, "DUH Scooters!" I love hot dogs! We weren't the only ones with that idea, and we had to circle the parking lot several times before finally finding a place to park. After that, we joined a line that stretched out the door. Once it was our turn, we both ordered the 'long' chili dog and got a 'tiny' fry and a banana shake to share. We were lucky enough to find a place to sit at the counter. While we waited I enjoyed the whimsical wall murals and people watching. Once we received our food, I happily dug in. The chili on the hot dog was unique, with corn mixed in. We were warned it would be spicy, but as Texans, we didn't find it spicy at all--though we did think it was quite tasty. The "tiny" order of fries was delicious and definitely not small in our eyes, though after seeing the massive portions others received, I suppose it was. We kept eating and eating them and still couldn't finish them. The banana shake was the perfect ending to our meal. I hope I get to eat at Scooters again. There are other hot dogs I would like to try.

Wow what an amazing place to have a meal…read more.. Did NOT know what to think but it was awesome. Vegan Friendly... They can make you anything you want with vegan dogs, vegan cheese (even cream cheese) and vegan sauces... Make sure you use the right door.. and they even have a covered patio area...

Driving from Buffalo to Pittsburgh there were several requests in the car for "good french fries"…read more I did a google search and Lucky Louie's popped up so we figured we'd try it. The place itself is pretty tiny. About three tables and hightop chairs along the bar. The menu is on the wall and huge! We ordered the kids Octodog which was a huge it. It is a hot dog cut into the shape of an octopus and served over macaroni and cheese. The octopus even had a face cut into it. My daughter said it was almost too cute to eat. My husband got the two dog special - two smaller versions of their signature dogs - because he was having a hard time deciding. They were served on "regular" hot dog rolls vs. the specialty buns most of theirs come on, but it was a perfect way to get to try two different flavors for the price of one of their signature dogs. I got the greek fries. DELICIOUS! I love the flavor of their greek sauce and the combo of the ingredients was just perfect. If I order this in the future, I'll probably add a hot dog chopped up on the top (to get the taste of a favorite dish from a hot dog shop back home). Service was quick and friendly. Overall a wonderful place with a great selection of unique and creative fry and hot dog options. Definitely a place we will be back to!
