I'd done my homework and knew some useful things (like how malaria is for all intents and purposes not found on the island of Bali, only several adjacent islands, or that Hep A and Typhoid were the most important vaccines to get and to watch out for mosquitoes for Dengue fever). She told me not to take malaria tabs with me and didn't push Japanese encephalitis or anything else. She spoke of her own travel experience and told me she was jealous as Indonesia was still on her to-go-to list. I felt comfortable and trusted her, and ended up taking her advice on what to get and what not to get. The walls were covered with post-cards and photos that were sent back to the office from former clients from their destinations. A cork-board was covered with dozens of monies of varying currencies. It struck me clearly as a place that was created by someone who loves to travel and isn't just out to capitalize on travelers' fears of visiting foreign locales. I went to ATWV after my PCP sent me to Sharp hospital's travel vaccination program, which wanted to charge over $100 for a consultation and then over $150 for typhoid alone. The consultation here was $30. I walked away spending less than $200 for the consult, typhoid, and a tetanus booster, which seemed very reasonable to me. They do not take insurance - though from my talks with the Sharp people, many insurances do not cover vaccinations for travel as travel is considered a luxury. The consult and both shots all happened right there in my first visit and I was out in under 30 minutes. I'd recommend getting there 10 minutes early to fill out a little bit of paperwork. Bring copies of your vaccination/immunization history and your travel itinerary. At the end she gave me a little booklet with the list of vaccinations I'd received and the dates so I could keep it with my passport and have a history of with what vaccinations I was current. A nice touch. I will absolutely go back for any future travels I do. Thank you Linda!

Very knowledgeable about where we were going too. Suggested we may be able to get insurance coverage for Hep A from like CVS but alas, that was only if you are high risk. So we should've just gotten the shot from Linda too. The exam room has a lot of cool memento and paper currency from all over the world as decor. Minus one star for a little confusion in finding the place. It's in the very last building if the office park and the sign at the front doesn't says Travelers Clinic instead of Around the World Vaccinations.

Each time, I call the office and speak to someone explaining that I already paid. Each time, they say they were in the middle of switching billing providers so my invoice got mixed up in the shuffle. I have emailed them my receipt as proof of payment, then they promise they will close out my account. Still, the invoices keep coming. I talk to someone new each time who says they have no record of my previous calls. I think I even paid again just to end the madness since I couldn't find my former receipt. Today I receive another invoice... again. I call the office, their voicemail phone system said to call a different number to speak to billing. I call that number which says "What's your name, and Google Voice will try to connect you." No mention of a GI office which seems strange. I say my name, I'm connected to someone who said "Hello?" with a dog barking in the background. Again, no mention of a GI office. I ask if this is the GI office. She says yes and seems annoyed that I'm confused. I go through the whole spiel again explaining why I'm calling. She says she has no record that I've ever called. I say that's not my issue, I have called the office and their billing department numerous times, I have a receipt I can send, and that I'm very frustrated. She responds "it's going to be your problem if I don't have proof you paid." Are you kidding? I again offer to send her my receipt which she refuses. Instead, she says she's going to call the office. So still nothing is settled. This office is incredibly disorganized!!

Definitly 5 Stars…read more My daughter's physical therapist at Rehab United referred us to Dr. O'Shea to help with a deep tissue and back injury. He has been absolutely marvelous. After just a couple sessions her pain level has been reduced significantly and she is able to run without pain for the first time in months. There is some pain involved with his method of therapy, but it is effective. My teen daughter says the little bit of pain during the session is well worth the positive results. If you are having trouble getting over an injury, especially a sports injury than Dr. O'Shea is the person you need to see. Two of the best rehabilitation decisions we have made have been to seek help from Rehab United and Dr. O'Shea. He has a very easy online appointment system on his webpage.

I wanted to share my experience in case it helps others…read more I was referred by a friend who also invited me to a cosmetic event that was scheduled for later in the month. I wanted to look more refreshed for another event I had planned earlier in the week and so I decided to go in early for botox. I initially had a positive first impression of this office. The doctor is a family physician who also offers cosmetic treatments like Botox and lasers. I came in specifically for Botox, and although he recommended more units than I usually receive for my crow's feet area, I agreed, trusting his judgment and hoping for good results. He even asked me to return in two weeks for a follow-up touch-up. Unfortunately, within days, I noticed no improvement at all in my crow's feet. I tried calling the office multiple times and received no response. I eventually went in person to have him evaluate the results. When I showed him the issue, he told me "not to smile so hard," which was surprising especially since during my appointment, the medical assistant had encouraged me to smile very hard for photos. At my two-week follow-up, I was expecting a touch-up as discussed. Instead, he recommended doubling the amount of Botox, and when I asked if I would be charged again, he said yes. This was concerning, as I have never needed that much product before, and my regular provider achieves effective results at a much lower cost. While he attempted to justify this with scientific explanations, my experience suggested that technique and anatomical precision, both critical in Botox, may have been lacking, rather than the amount used. What was most disappointing was that after this entire experience, there was no effort to resolve the issue or stand behind the results. Instead, I immediately received a reminder text invitation to a cosmetic event promoting additional services and products. Given the outcome of my treatment, this felt dismissive and a lack of professionalism and patient care. Overall, I left feeling disappointed with the results, communication, and handling of concerns. I would not recommend this doctor, especially for cosmetic procedures where experience, technique, and ethical standards are essential.
