I can't wait to return to Oyshi on Hwy 360 in Grand Prarie; their Sushi is awesome! Too many Sushi restaurants screw up the rice (overcooked, unable to stick together after dipping in soy). OYSHI does their Sushi Rice PERFECTLY. Each pearl of rice has a bit of 'bite' in the starchy center of the grain, while the Sushi Rice sticks together, enabling you to enjoy your Nigiri Sushi bites without the rice disintegrating into individual grains. The Fish on our Sushi was FRESH, sliced to provide generous cuts which yield delicious seafood flavors in each & every bite. The appetizers were awesome, and the Combination Fried Rice was so very tasty. I offer my highest recommendation of OYSHI; they prepare Nigiri Sushi and Sushi Rolls the right way, with perfectly cooked oriental rice and generous cuts of fresh fish.

This time we ordered the crab Rangoon, takoyaki, jalapeño poppers, chicken bento box, chicken steak and shrimp hibachi, chicken steak and scallops hibachi, and the ahi tower. They don't make the hibachi in front of you - they cook it in the back and bring it to your table. Chicken, shrimp, and steak 10/10 - the meats are cooked to order and for the hibachi I'd recommend ordering the yum yum sauce for the meat Chicken, steak, and scallops 8/10 - each time we've ordered this dish the scallops are over cooked and chewy Takoyaki 9/10 - great quality Takoyaki and comes out pipping hot Jalapeño poppers 10/10 - these are sweet poppers not at all spicy and they are a family favorite Crab ragoons 9/10 - these were very good Chicken bento box 8/10 - the dumplings weren't very good but the chicken was great Ahi tower 10/10 - very fresh tuna and great dish

This meal reminded us of our past travels in Japan. I ordered the Hiroshima and my partner ordered the GOAM!, I would recommend both. The atmosphere was nicely dark, and the service was incredible. Very attentive and the server gave us a great explanation of the menu before we ordered.

I like that they have combinations (e.g. filet mignon&chicken). We loved the filet mignon. The chicken was a little dry both times we have ordered it; ask the hibachi chef for some of the teriyaki sauce on the side. I am not a shrimp fan, but shrimp in their yum yum sauce - holy cow! I am seriously considering ordering shrimp and scallops as my meal next time, because the seafood in yum yum sauce is amazing here. The staff is super friendly and readily accommodated my husband's endless requests. (Can I get mine with a double portion of fried rice? Two soups instead of soup and salad? A dish of that teriyaki sauce on the side?) Our favorite hibachi chef is Antonio. He was creative, friendly, and jived well with the family extroverts. The interior looks classiest after dark because of the lighting, so we will make a habit of coming more often in the winter. In the daylight it's just all right. The noise level and seating arrangements may make it difficult to have a conversation with more than one or two other people at your table, which is common in a hibachi restaurant. There was also a vent in the exhaust hood that rattled loudly over my head the whole time, but we were still able to carry on a conversation between four of us when we brought my husband's parents. Overall a decent choice for a good hibachi dinner.
