I asked for a booth and assured her I wouldn't stay long. There were several unoccupied but it was 6:00p on a Tuesday and I understood they might fill up later. I ordered an eel roll and the lettuce wraps. The lettuce wraps were delicious although their version of crispy rice noodles is more like crumbled rice noodles. Still tasted great and was hot. The lettuce boats weren't sufficient for the filling they provided (which was ample). The eel roll was fairly good and they provided wasabi & ginger. I ordered an old fashioned and found it to be well prepared. Also, their water was excellent, not soapy or skunky. Not sure when I'll be in Murray again, but this is in my top 5 to visit when I am.

The restaurant is a little dark and the decor shows some age. The bathroom definitely needs updating and deep cleaning. The bento box lunch was a great value. We had steak teriyaki and chicken tempura bento boxes. It included a broth- like soup, fried rice, small egg roll, small lettuce salad, and 4 small pieces of California roll, along with the main. Overall the food was good and reasonably priced. The chicken tempura was excellently cooked with great crunch on outside and moist chicken inside.

I think this is probably my favorite sushi place. Every time me and my boyfriend go on a sushi date…read morewe find ourselves reminiscing about Yamato. We ordered the sunset roll because the guy across the room looked like he was really enjoying it and it has such a nice visual appeal. I know it's not a gigantic sushi roll compared to some but i think it was perfect. As you can see boyfriend was pretty pleased with it. We also ordered filet mignon fried rice. I literally cannot get over how good it was. The steak melted in your mouth we got it cooked medium. The rice itself was really good as well some places we've been it's just bland and we drench it soy sauce to give it flavor but we didn't barely use any on Yamato rice because it was very nice alone. Now my favorite part is that our total only came out to be like 20 bucks for both us. normally we spend 30 dollars on something like that total. So i was very pleased to get a really nice meal at such an affordable price. I literally do not have a negative thing to say about our experience here. Everything was super clean. Our waitress was super nice I regret not tipping more. I cannot wait to come here again I definitely recommend this place.

I only ate half of it. It was delish! I also ordered unsweetened tea and added fruit teas available. They had peach as well as raspberry and a house fruit tea that was very flavorful. It has plenty of tables and chairs for many people. You order at the counter and the servers bring your food to you. The parking can be a tad tricky since the shop shares the lot with many businesses. If ever in Martin, TN, stop by and support this local business. We had a fun time!
