Owner is personable and helpful. Green curry and sushi rolls are to die for. Has a unique avocado/peanut roll worth trying.

I love this place! We accidentally ordered the wrong sushi online, but the waitress was VERY kind and understanding and changed it without hesitation and they made it fast. They are always so amazing, my favorite place in Martin! read more

Hunan Palace - Spicy California Rolls sushi - Chinese Near Me - Martin, Tennessee

You can't go wrong with Hunan Palace. This little hole in the wall restaurant is great! The food is delicious! The service is good! The prices are very reasonable! Their takeaway portions are good except for the rice; just order a extra rice. I give it 4 stars instead of 5 because it has no appeal on the inside; the decor is extremely lacking but the food shines!! read more

Came to this place with some friends for a decent dinner. Although this place isn't too authentic, it's a decent meal. The service is excellent I must say. The staff was lovely, kind, courteous, and very attentive. The food lacks flavor or is overly seasoned in some dishes. The fried rice lacks flavor, the beef and broccoli is decent, and their noodle dishes are very salty. Good service, although I wasn't too impressed. I would come back. The staff was lovely and anything is worth another shot. read more

Food is always fresh when I come to this place, never disappointed when I come to eat with my family at this restaurant.

We just checked this place out and it was delicious! We tried the Orange Chicken, General Tso's Chicken and Sesame Chicken. They all came with steamed or fried rice. Each dish was yummy in a different way. We also tried the crab wontons and they were more cream cheese than crab. We will probably be skipping these next time. I went to pick up the food and the restaurant was very cute. It seems like a fun place to eat out in with all your typical Chinese decor and, of course, the hot tea! We will definitely be going back here next time we are craving some Chinese food. read more

The food is food and fairly priced , the service is fast and friendly. Clean and put together

The sushi was okay. It was very affordable which was nice, but overall, nothing special or out of this world. I probably wouldn't come back again if I were looking to get sushi, but may come back to try other Chinese dishes. This spot was a little hidden, but the hotel manager said this was the best place for sushi and town and gave me good directions for it. There were tvs up with football one, which was nice as I was visiting from out of town and dining alone. There were many families here and overall busy, so must be a pretty good choice for the area. read more

I love the sushi. Plenty of good options. Their standard Asian cuisine is always good. Restaurant really could use a remodel, though!

Sushi chef is phenomenal and I always have great service 10/10. I would recommend the sushi over anything else on the menu though it's superior read more

Let me just say this the sushi is amazing. Made to order. Probably the best in Milan and I don't say that lightly. You can tell when a person puts love into the food and there was love in the sushi. I could taste the passion that was put into the sushi, it was that good. And you may be saying to yourself 'what does this person know? They don't know anything about sushi' well let me just say this: if a restaurant has sushi on the menu and it isn't made right, like in a fusion restaurant for example, I won't be back to that restaurant. However, if sushi is made right, like at Hunan I'll go back for the sushi. read more

We love this restaurant. The food is excellent, with very generous servings. The service, also, is excellent! Sometimes my wife and I order one of the more expensive dinners and split it between us, and , then Hunan Palace in Martin TN won't disappoint you! read more

I've been here two or three times before and the food has been okay. However, I ate their orange chicken last night and my stomach has been hurting non stop. I really want this place to do well, I've always had great service but this recent experience has been terrible read more

I would have been happy to leave a comment on the food if I could have gotten service. Instead I happily stood at the "wait to be seated" sign looking like an idiot while being ignored until I moved closer to the bar where I was asked to go back to the "wait to be seated sign." The restaurant had customers, but it was not overly busy, especially not too busy for so much as a "give me a minute please" by either employee that walked past me multiple times as I continued to stand at the "wait to be seated" sign. read more

Not what I would consider Chinese. I want the authentic flavors from China not the American versions.

Despite the fact that this place may look a tad shady from the outside, it's decent looking on the inside. The service was good, and the menu had a good selection. Not the best Chinese I've had, but it's definitely not the worst. Overall, a nice experience and if I'm in the area again and in the mood for Asian I'll probably stop by again. read more

New in town so I wanted to try a Chinese restaurant. This place was given good reviews so so wanted to give it a try. I ordered the spicy chicken lunch special. It was ok nothing to write home about. I'll give this place another go in the future and probably try my old faithful General Tso Chicken. I'll write a review about that in the future. It gets a 3 out of 5 stars from me. Not bad but wasn't excellent. read more

This is the first Chinese restaurant that I have been to that had food close to my favorite restaurant that closed several years ago. I order the same thing every time I go-mongolian beef, an order of steamed dumplings and a hot and sour soup. I am never disappointed. The yum yum sauce is awesome, the food is tasty, the service is always attentive and friendly. I will definitely be back! read more

My first visit to Hunan Palace was a success. The place was very clean but not too fancy. The service was excellent and very friendly. I ordered the shrimp imperial and it was Excellent. The came quickly, it was very hot, and it was an abundant serving. The dish consisted of jumbo shrimp, scallops, imitations crab, as well as vegetables along with fried rice. I will be returning as it is one of the best oriental stops in Martin. read more

The sushi was terrible.. the other food may be good. This is not a sushi bar all the "sushi" is cooked. The wateriest did a good job and the food came out fast. read more

Everything I've ever gotten here has been extremely good. Their lo mien is always so fresh and probably the best I've had. I usually get kung pao chicken and have gotten some others and all were really good! read more

Good food, just a little small on the dinner take-out sizes and take-out fried rice. Although their sushi is great tasting, they don't have sashimi. :-( read more

Found a claw in the orange chicken. Never going back. Probably never eating chinese again period. A talon. No kidding.

As a long-time customer and also eventually an employee, I can tell you this place is a good restaurant. The kitchen is clean and the food tastes great. Also, the orange chicken cannot have a talon in it. They use chicken breast cuts where the breast comes pre-packaged, not a whole chicken. Also, no employee has ever heard of this incident, and neither did the owners. What that person likely found was a piece of the red pepper stem used to season it, unless thats a BS review. We do our best to quickly respond to customers at the door, but "not overly busy" with only one or two waitresses may mean its busy. If you are told to "WAIT to be seated" then it means you may have to WAIT a minute or two while the servers catch up and someone can get a table clean for you. All the sushi is cooked because the raw sushi we used to have never sold, so the raw ingredients went to waste. Currently, there is raw sushi that has been added back because more people have asked for it than in the past. There are few places I worked where I would not recommend because of hygiene, and I am vocal about those places. This place is clean and everything is prepped an made from scratch. read more

This place isn't fantastic. I've been many times and their food is very plain and unsatisfying every time. I have to always smother my food in soy sauce to even have an taste to it. It's very affordable but you're mostly just paying for a huge plate of rice on most things you order. The parking lot is very small for this place. The staff is always friendly here though, I will give them that and they also have a lot of seating. read more
