This building is prepared for large volumes of people so the drive up box sends you through a very clearly labeled maze to move people through or you can go inside and there's a box in there as well with some very friendly employees! Need to register, change of address, etc etc.? No worries - those friendly employees are ready to help you navigate the rules and get things done for you.

The Renton Senior Activity Center has one of the best facilities and programs around. I have compared senior centers to other municipalities when I visited, such as the Olympia area, and now I know even more what a wonderful city I live in. Renton has wonderful green parks that make use of the Lake Washington lakefront and of the Cedar River which runs through town. Lots of bicycle paths are available and some outdoor exercise equipment.

Good thing, because we'll be seeing them again next week. The building, grounds, and parking lot are all very clean and well-kept. I love Renton!

The worst thing about Renton Municipal Court is Judge Jurado. He costs us taxpayers an incredible…read moreamount of money each day. He never takes the bench in a timely matter, he rarely if ever is prepared when he takes the bench (often times reading information on his computer for 10 minutes or more while the courtroom is silent), he treats people charged with a crime who have hired an attorney much different than those who have to have a publicly appointed attorney... I could go on and on. It is sad that Renton has to be saddled with a dud for a judge. The courthouse is beautiful, the Clerks seem efficient and kind, and the parking is good... but the wait for justice, if justice ever really happens by Judge Jurado, is awful. I have not been charged with a crime nor do i work in the building. But i do like to see how my tax dollars are used or misused... so off to view the proceedings i go.

I went in early waited outside since 8:30 on Thursday expecting to do a walk in and get seen right away nope they opened the doors and told everyone to start making appointments. Even with an appointment I was not seen til an hour later after my appointment. Example my appointment was at 10:45 was not seen til 11:30/40. But I will say the clerk was super nice and friendly :)

Vending machine only take dollar bills so if you want to buy some food remember to bring cash in dollar bills.

The parking lot around there charges $8 for a day of parking even though you plan to park for a few hours only.
