Day of the reservation all we did was check-in, then drove to the beach where they were waiting. We had them for two hours, even running 20 minutes late with our return but was no problem!! If you are out of shape and don't exercise on a consistent basis... RUN! This is not for beginners! Most of the people with us looked to be in decent shape and we're dying to get to the caves and we're dead on the way back. Hold on to your horses, and be ready to give up your arms to the endless paddling. The best comparison is being on a rowing machine for 2.5 hours non stop. Stop paddling and you get left behind to wine with all the others that can't paddle. For the majority of the group, this was an interesting attempt at turning a workout into a so called adventure. Save yourself the $65 per person, rent the kayak for $15/hr and paddle until your arms give out, or better yet, drive cave point and jump a few times for free! Btw.... There's only one small cave.
