We opted for the spinning art experience since my daughter is too young to partake in the more elaborate ones. Originally, we booked for 4 people but one person got sick so we asked if we could transfer the funds for that person for another experience since there are no refunds. Luckily, was able to contact them the day before and added the bunny paint pour over experience. Ozzie was our guide and he was super kind and gentle with my daughter. We were instructed to pick 5 colors and then we donned our plastic bootie covers, apron and gloves. We entered our designated art room and was blown away by all the colors on the wall. There was even a tire swing which my daughter was all about. The spinning art experience was a lot of fun and I enjoyed seeing my daughter embrace the paint. I think her favorite part was when she had free rein to paint all over the walls. Overall, we had a great time. Only down side is that it does go by super quick and is quite an expensive experience for one hour. However, we get to have a treasured memento which is ready for pick up about 5 days afterwards and we did have a great time. That being said, #noragrats!

I would have continued with the classes but I missed out on the next level classes, and then I moved jobs so I wasn't working in downtown as much. Also, it seemed like a great place to meet new people from outside circles you normally wouldn't cross paths with otherwise. Though I had taken a year of ceramics in highschool, I didn't feel any prior background experience was necessary to learn and enjoy from this class. Chef May did a fantastic job walking us through how to prepare each dish before releasing us to our own individual stations, easing my concern that I would screw things up. When we needed any assistance, she was right there to jump in and provide support. I would be amiss if I didn't mention the best part of the class which is eating the food we made. Every dish was delicious. I especially loved the Pan Con Tomate and Jamon Serrano, and Pork Belly with Membrino Glaze. I would definitely recommend taking a class here. Mike sent out two gentlemen (Aaron & Alberto) to be the "referees." Everything was set up perfectly when we arrived. They also gave us a stereo to play our music. I love how they give you break times in between and allow you to pay the day of (in case you would like to cut the play time shorter). After the event, Mike gave me a follow up call to ask how everything went, which I thought was sweet. FYI: Mike told me 10 minutes in a bubble is equivalent to 1 hour of working out...I thought he was lying, but my oh my... HE WAS NOT LYING LOL. My group and I were sweating in the 64 degree weather after playing for only 5 minutes. BE PREPARED TO BE SORE FOR THE NEXT 2-3 days. We definitely felt more sore than we would at the gym. OVERALL, if you ever want to knock a friend out, invite them to your bubble soccer event ;) !

The…read moreexperience felt thoughtfully curated and relaxed, and we loved getting to try a variety of local spots in the Arts District all in one afternoon. Our tour guide, Sally, was wonderful. She shared interesting stories about the neighborhood and the restaurants, which made it feel more like exploring the area with a knowledgeable friend rather than a typical tour. The food was delicious and plentiful, and we even met some really nice new friends along the way. Our very first Six Taste tour was actually the Arts District tour back in 2016, so it was special to return ten years later and experience it again. Over the years we've also enjoyed their tours in Downtown Los Angeles, Hollywood, Santa Monica, Thai Town, Koreatown, and Little Tokyo. Every tour has been a fun way to discover great food and learn more about the neighborhoods of Los Angeles. Highly recommend!

Paul is extremely patient and encouraging and is focused on teaching proper form and developing good habits, while making sure my son enjoys the sport and is meeting his personal goals. My son has improved dramatically, not only by gaining more technical skills, but also by gaining confidence in his abilities. South Bay Archery was also extremely generous and accommodating over the holidays, as our family was searching for a fun activity to do on New Year's eve with some friends. We booked a private party with Coach Paul and Coach Lani and everyone had a wonderful time! They made sure all 9 participants learned proper safety protocols, and taught our group how to shoot since some of us had no prior experience. They kept a good pace, explaining the challenges of shooting from further distances, and made things extra fun by creating a competition at the end, with the winner getting a prize! After that we relaxed and ate in the party room upstairs, which overlooked the shooting area. We all had a GREAT TIME! I encourage anyone looking for a fun group activity to check out South Bay Archery Lessons! As someone who didn't grow up near the ocean, I was apprehensive about taking a 6-day 101/103/104…read moreand 114 ASA certification course suggested by my spouse. But luckily Captain Anthony (aka The Happy Captain) helped to dispel any of those fears. His 30+ years of sailing experience and instruction got us up to speed quickly on the 38-ft catamaran "Untethered". In addition to sailing, we learned provisioning, how to anchor at mooring balls in Catalina, and spent 4 nights on board. It's hard to express they joy I felt at seeing the dozens of dolphins that joined us one afternoon. The man overboard drills we did offshore of Marina Del Rey were also memorable. We brought our own Starlink terminal and were able to familiarize ourselves with some of the navigation and weather apps. Ruth in the office made sure all of our logistics went smoothly. We had signed up a few months prior, with a promo offered during the 2025 Newport Boat Show. Big thanks to the team at Blue Pacific. Highly recommend!
