I enjoyed watching television shows on their numerous T.V.s, which are hung right above the fitness equipment. Each television was on a different channel. That's good! I like variety. Staff was courteous as usual, and members remembered to re-rack their weights.

I guess it is overwhelming for the front desk attendants to speak to everyone that come in the door so don't be hesitant join if they don't speak. The Planet is normally clean, and they ask you to help maintain housekeeping by cleaning the machines behind yourself, but some fail to meet that task or abide by the request. At the present time they are offering a promotion for teens 14-19 to work out free. Go by and check it out.

Place needs better maintenance as bathrooms are always wreaking of urine especially the kids family bathroom. Why do we have a children's bathroom with no proper way for children to reach the sink located inside the toilet? Staff at the salon also has a bad attitude. For such a high end gym, customer service is lacking 100%.

The indoor was drained twice for repairs in less than 3 months. Pool hours were cut to 12-4! Even on weekends! We couldn't enjoy the pool after work. Towels were limited to one per person and asking for an extra towel literally got you yelled at. Chairs haven't been cleaned in years so I'm covering my chair! I was told by one of the kids that guards there that they blamed it on maintenance but they didn't want to hire! They were always short staffed but didn't want to pay people. Overall this club has taken a nose dive and put profit over quality. We pay a lot to be members with no regard. The other locations are much better. Stay away from this one!

Staff here is really friendly I will say. Not really the cleanest LAF No one re-racks their weights. The way they rush you out at closing time (overhead announcements every 5 or less minutes), you'd think the staff could take the time to rack the weights. It can get REALLY busy. I try to go during non-peak hours but even then... they could really use more machines. The bathrooms are okay, or the cleanest but expected for a public area I'd think. It's about the gym goers as much as the cleaning staff though. Gym goers though tend to be pretty friendly I find. So.. not the best not the worst

For the most part, everyone just kind of does their own thing which is good. Equipment looked a bit run down, rusty, kind of dirty, machine pads splitting and breaking apart. The gym itself is super messy, there are maybe 10 mismatched dumbbells on the rack at any given time because all of the equipment is just thrown all over the place - ex., one 30lb dumbbell here and the other is underneath a bench at the far end of the gym. The lighting gives you a Dollar Tree vibe - It's actually kind of sad and depressing. Locker rooms are a little crowded, maybe a bit less crowded during the day. Apparently this location will be going through a renovation period, so maybe it will be better when done. Overall experience? Wasn't terrible, I got my workout in, however, I think LA Fitness needs to hire better management and a better staff - a staff that will stay on top of certain issues and care about the overall gym goer experience. It seems like some of the complaints from years ago were never really addressed. A renovation would be nice but won't mean anything if you still have the same management and staff working there.
