Of course the warranty I have with the place I bought the car from well low and behold that part is not covered. Imagine that...so I am getting prices of 2000 to 5000 to fix it cause u have to take the front of the grill area off to get to the senser. So I called a few other places and one was shoreline family auto repair and sales. It was bout 430 p m n Jeff told me to bring my car in and he would look. They close at 5 pm give a few minutes. So I hurried over there and he comes in and said he could fix it for four. I said thousand he goes no 400$. I bout fell out the chair. So we made an appointment for that coming wednesday and i TY ook it in and he had it fixed andcready to cc ome home. He sent the gentel man to come pick me up n take me back to the shop to get it not even 3 hours later. They also gave me a ride home that morning. The folks who work there are very considerate, understanding on your consernes and being a senior on social security i dont have alot of money. Jeff the gentelman who helped me in the beggining could see i was in a panic he quoted the price including the parts and labor n it cost 402.$. That i had but this 2 to 5000 $ from those other places wow. Shame on them. It is hard to find a auto mechanic that u can trust and believe what they are telling u is the truth. Sorry in advance for the essay review but I think it's important to share my experience with Sal at…read moreSNS Auto. I am based in California and purchased a 2006 Dodge Dakota SLT TRX4 with a 4.7 High Output engine in February of 2021 from SNS Auto. Communication- from start to finish Sal has been responsive, communicative and professional. He was open and honest with me regarding all issues, inspections and maintenance and very detailed when negotiating price. As a potential out-of-state customer, Sal also took the time to set up a virtual (FaceTime) to allow me the opportunity to thoroughly inspect the vehicle (as much as possible through FaceTime). It took roughly an hour and half but Sal showed me every single good and bad detail (scratches, paint condition, vehicle idle, engine compartment) about the truck and anything I asked him to show or hear he complied happily. He even crawled on his hands knees to show me the undercarriage of the vehicle for like 10 minutes while it was running so I can observe if any leaks, heavy rust, etc., etc. His level of honesty and overall communication has been amazing. Customer Service- Sal is a natural and humble servant to his customers. At no point did I ever feel uncomfortable or taken advantage of. I've worked in sales before and have had many interactions with car salesmen/saleswomen so I am quite familiar with sales techniques, language and practices. Sal is straight up and honest and sincerely wants to satisfy his clients. In some instances he went above and beyond what any sales person has ever done for me. Product- I purchased/shipped the vehicle and the price (plus shipping) was under KBB and I was satisfied. Sal worked out some magic to get me an incredible rate for shipping that was well under other estimates and shipping only took 2-3 days. (The delivery driver was also incredibly nice and communicative). Upon receiving the vehicle, it was apparent that there were many issues that were not observed during our virtual test drives. I took the car for a test drive and as mentioned, I observed some issues that I needed to address with Sal. Before I could reach out to Sal to discuss the issues, he was already calling/texting me to confirm that the vehicle had arrived and that I was satisfied. We had some lengthy conversations about the issues I observed but if you're still reading- THIS IS WHEN I WAS BLOWN AWAY WITH SAL'S EXEMPLARY CUSTOMER SERVICE- Together we investigated and addressed every issue. We even spoke to the SNS in-house mechanic to iron out details of the issues. I also took the vehicle to my personal mechanic for diagnosis and to write up estimates as needed. Sal offered to help cover some of the expenses and even found parts needed and shipped them to me. I truly believe that if I lived closer to SNS auto, Sal and his team would have addressed all the issues for me but because I am an out-of-state buyer he worked with me in EVERY WAY POSSIBLE to make sure I was satisfied and that the vehicle was in the condition as advertised pre-purchase. It is important to note that I purchased the vehicle with an "AS IS WARRANTY" which typically means no warranty and the vehicle is sold as is- but Sal is a family oriented and honest professional and went the extra mile to ensure the vehicle met my standards. Overall Conclusion - it is now been about a month and half since I purchased the vehicle and I have finally completed all work needed to correct/fix issues. BUT I COULD NOT HAVE DONE IT WITHOUT SAL- He has been incredibly supportive and helpful to making sure the vehicle met my standards. As mentioned, sourcing parts and helping cover expenses while maintaining high levels of communication is more than I could have ever asked for. Some of you reading this might think that this should not be a 5 star review, but I am honestly incredibly happy and beyond impressed with Sal and SNS team for all they have done to make me a happy California client. Thank you so much Sal for everything you have done and for proving to me that there are still good, whole-hearted, honest and professional people in this world.

Big shoutout to William and the manager of this business (don't recall a name, but won't leave you…read moreout). My car broke down due to my alternator shutting power off my car completely in the middle of 99 while I was turning onto 44th Ave. It was a nightmare situation with my girlfriend and I and hazards couldn't work and a couple of dicks sharing a brain cell who looked like they got off the set of "The Matrix" started honking repeatedly at us telling us to perform miraculous acts in such an occasion like, "drive to the side, asshole" and "why don't you turn on your hazards?!" Ah, yes. How about I do that after I deposit my check after inventing the cure for cancer, you devilish prick. "Shall I walk on water for you as well, M'lady?" Yikes. They then proceeded to do the correct maneuver and go around me, which trust me, is a very easy thing to do. Anyways, then William from Livengood Motors assesses the situation from across the street alongside his manager. The man is wearing a vest with a tie and a clean white Oxford. I mean, classy doesn't even cover it. They come to my assistance, give me a jump, direct me to their business lot where they proceed to offer their assistance, hook me up with the installation of the alternator, and also they called me a friend (which to be honest, is like the cherry on the sundae). I mean, how friendly neighborhood is that? Like, Spider-Man, move aside...Livengood Motors is here to blow your shit outta the water. 10/10 would recommend.
