He appeared bothered and asked me a few questions. Then he says " I FEEL UNCOMFORTABLE LETTING YOU DRIVE IF THE BUYERS NOT HERE"... mind you my sister is the buyer, and we don't even know if the car turns on even at this point!? I told him my sister was the buyer. THEN HE ASKED ME IF I WAS READY TO PAY TODAY, because if not he doesn't feel comfortable letting us drive... we are 2 African women in our 30's staring blankly at him. What was going on here? Not sure if he's a sleazy salesman and the prospect of having the mechanic there scared him? Or that we were "sketchy" looking, is this is a race or gender issue? This review is about the stellar customer service that was provided to me while buying a car. Buying a car from a dealership is a pain and I spent weeks stressing about doing it. When the time finally came, I went to a local and known Ford Dealership that immediately tried to screw me over on payments and price of the vehicle and had to walk away. After I left there, I went to Seattle Finest Motors because they had a car in their inventory I was very interested in, a 2016 Ford Explorer. I had found it online a couple days prior and the sales agent Leonard reached out to me about it. The day I wanted to see it, he came in on his day off just to help me. The entire time I worked with Leonard he was honest and respectful. He not only helped me get the car I wanted, but got me a much better rate than I was expecting. During the test drive I noticed the air conditioner in the car wasn't blowing as cold as it should be and the team there kept the car overnight to have it looked at and the next day when I went to pick it up the AC was cold as ice. The day I picked it up, another sales agent named Habib assisted me in getting all of the paperwork together and answering all my dumb questions. I drove the car off the lot that day. About two weeks later I received my license plates via mail (a huge advantage that saved me a trip!) along with a check for the difference in the cost of vehicle tabs. What impressed me most about Seattle Finest Motors is the honesty about the vehicles and transparency about what you pay for. They didn't try any aggressive sales tactics, make me feel pressured, and were extremely helpful. If you're looking for a used car, definitely check these guys out. Side note: I know I said the review wasn't about the car, but I've put several hundred miles on it already including a trip that was over 100 miles and it's had absolutely no problems.

The staff was polite, but when we brought this up, they said we were "about $5,000 apart" and only offered to fix a couple of items. I never received an email reply from them and it's been 10 days. I ended up purchasing from a private seller instead a few days later. Having worked in the industry I can tell you it's very bad form to not follow up with a sales lead, even if the car has been sold. They could have the nicest cars and lowest prices, but if the salespeople don't a) have a working contact form on their website or b) bother to contact an interested buyer, it leads to a poor customer experience and makes you wonder what other corners they will cut and how above and beyond they will go to make a happy customer. Based on this I wouldn't buy from or recommend this dealership. Where I worked, not following up on leads would get you terminated, quickly.
