Had to go back to shop when I couldn't figure it out myself. Time and gas wasted... Eco tire with better tread than my existing tires was installed on front passenger side where donut was when a retired mechanic advised that it should have been switched to the rear passenger tire. It would have taken more effort to switch the two tires than the one... so lazy and unprofessional work! My silver lining is that a bare bones tire shop was discovered on the south side which has amazing prices for decent quality new tires and that my retired mechanic is a go-to advice guy for many and will absolutely not recommend Eco Tire to anyone again. I did not think my initial review was lacking clarity! Perhaps service standards for Eco workers should have clarity!

After getting up at 4am to arrive at the warehouse…read more(where I normally get my tires changed over every two seasons) to a lineup informing me I would be the bearer of cone #24 (someone in the crowd said people were starting to line up at 1:30am), I made the calculations in my head. It would mean waiting another 35 mins to collect my cone at 5am, drive home and back or wait until the doors opened at 6am so I could line up to drop off the vehicle/get the paperwork, make arrangements to have a family member/friend be on standby/pick me up whenever I made it through the queu (not sure how long being #24 in line would take) and then have them drive me back once again to pick up the vehicle a few hours later. I thought "this is insane". I drove home and contacted Fast Fix Tires and made an appt. for the following week. They came to my home (on time), were friendly and easy-going, and it took less than an hour to get my winter tires (not on rims) put on. Did this cost me an arm and a leg? No. Compared to the 4+ hours saved waiting and waiting some more at the warehouse, it was a bargain. It was also cheaper than what my regular mechanic (always reasonably priced) had quoted me and I didn't even have to leave home. I used to dread the changeover of tires twice a year but not any more. Highly recommended!

We were in Edmonton several weeks ago and were having a slow leak in one of our tires. We went to…read moreCostco, and they told us we would have to replace all four tires, as the leak could not be fixed. In addition, this would take several days as we needed an appointment. Since we were from Spokane, WA., and needed to get home, this was impractical. The next day we went to visit Mike Schmidt at 17108 107 Ave., and he said they would review the tire situation. Costco had already replaced the regular tire with the spare donut. This they did, and in a few hours, had it fixed "to industry standards" and we were on our way back to Spokane. No problems since. Kudos to Mike and crew. We could not have been happier with their attention and service.

I'M REALLY SICK OF SCAMMERS, AREN'T YOU?…read more I went to their new location at 1544 23 Ave. on the south side. I only went there because it used to be an OK tired. I had an appointment for 8 a.m. to get my tires swapped over. Everyone else, literally at least 10 people had an 8 a.m. appointment to. I managed to luckily be the first in line. After waiting 45 minutes, I was told "We can't put your winter tires on". I've never heard of such a thing. They said one was a dot 2010 and so I needed 3 new tires. I asked them to show me the law that said you had to replace your tires. They could not...because there is NO SUCH THING! They made this up in order to sell me tires. I WILL NEVER BUY ANYTHING FROM THESE SCAM ARTISTS AGAIN! One day, someone will sue them for bait and switch which is a Anti Trust law violation and making up laws that don't exist. Don't waste your time here. I went to a small independant garage the same day, had my tires switched over (they aren't on rims") for $90 and they were done in 40 minutes. Go to NBS Auto on 1533 70th Ave. These guys were really busy and still got me in and out in 40 minutes!
