Stopped here to pick up a fresh wreath for Christmas. The staff all greeted me upon walking up. They were very friendly and helpful in selecting a wreath. They were all beautiful and very reasonably priced. I did not have the opportunity to check out the food or other produce items, but they have some amazing looking items and I can't wait to get back and try some of their other items. read more

Love stopping by this little local family owned fruit/flower/plant place when in the area. Today we were looking for some good plant city strawberries. $28 for a flat but they are sweet & juicy. They had some samples of fruit by the register so we ended up with some red navel oranges. They also had some fresh made breads for $2 so we got a loaf perfect for garlic bread. read more

Nice little place on 50 in Clermont. If you can grow it as a flower or grow it to eat, they've probably got it! Nice freshly baked bread too for cheap, but make sure you eat it quickly as it'll mold (because it's fresh, not chock full of preservatives!). I discovered Kim's Cabbage Patch when I was living in Clermont over 10 years ago. I was impressed with the high level of customer service from the staff who will go above and beyond what is necessary. A native of NH, I found it to be reminiscent of farm stands in the NE. I was thoroughly impressed with the just off-the-farm fresh fruits and vegetables along with a magnificent selection of cheeses. During October, Kim's is our go-to place for corn stalks! Do you know how hard it is FL to find fresh corn stalks and without driving clear across the state? Also, Gouda and pumpkins galore. Don't even get me started on fresh balsam wreaths and Christmas trees! I now live in DeLand and will make a special trip to Kim's Cabbage Patch! Kudos! read more

The absolutely best Christmas tree ever. We bought the tree on December 16th after searching to find a decent tree somewhere and happened to drive past this place. There were these beautiful Christmas trees on display out front. This tree has not shed, it is still just as beautiful as when we bought it and I refuse to throw it out. I'm thinking hearts for Valentine's and Eggs for Easter. I am hoping to see these trees again next Christmas because there is no doubt I will be buying another one. In fact please, please, please have these same trees again this year, they were all on stands in water and I don't know if this is what made the difference but whatever it is I am impressed. Amazing local market for fruits, flowers and veggies.... Staff is friendly and knowlegable. Prices are cheaper than any supermarket.... just got banana's at 20cents a pound! Also picked up some plants... they were great with soil type, bloom season etc. Parking is a little tricky, as this is right at the light. Get the traffic moving and you can slip right in/out. Great small town farmers market for local fresh produce. They only have a small amount of plants for sale but they are ones you can not find anywhere else.
