Really nice food spot in the heart of Mt Dora. Each shop/eatery has its own unique vibe, and they're usually nice and bustling with a great atmosphere!

My sister and I got Fun-Ko's poke bowls here and they were so incredibly tasty. We both built our own, the toppings are so customizable and the portions were HUGE for what we paid for! The man working was so kind and accommodating to everything we wanted. We got a punch card so we can go back again and again!

I had the most delicious sub sandwich today with my boyfriend Zach. I split the Cuban sandwich from SubsanwichesFL which is a little sub sandwich booth in the marketplace. It was absolutely exquisite and really hot the spot. It backs up to Wolf Branch Brewery. Y'all need to stop here asap!

Marketplace has two buildings. This is one of two buildings on Donnelly with the black awning.

Mount Dora Marketplace is a neat little food marketplace in downtown Mount Dora. Pretty impressed that they have this type of business here. Then again, their downtown area is comprised of many local businesses which is amazing and has some extraordinary variety to choose from. The Marketplace has two buildings. I didn't know that before. There is also an outside alley sitting area in between both buildings. It's pretty cute to sit outside in that area. They have many different options between the two buildings as well as a few stores for shopping. On this visit, we tried Melo's Colombian arepas and Ceviche Express. Both of the businesses we tried were in the two different buildings. Even so, Ceviche Express delivered my food to me in the other building where I was sitting. Some other options include a mediteranean place - think pita and gyros, a poke place, an empanada place, mimosa and drinks, and a bar and a cheese plate. Check this out in Mount Dora. It's a really interesting set up, & I do like it!

Great food and cute outdoor seating. Love bubbles and juice and the crapes are delicious. Got the monte cristo crape. Did not disappoint. Looking forward to trying more.

The Mount Dora Marketplace is a shop with multiple vendors including artist and food stalls in buildings on Fourth Street and Donnelly. It is made up of two buildings next door to each other with a garden in between for seating and which can be used to stage outdoor events. The Mount Dora Marketplace is based on markets like East End Market in Orlando where multiple vendors are able to save on rent by gathering under one roof. The Marketplace allows small business owners who wouldn't otherwise be able to afford to be in downtown Mount Dora the opportunity to sell their wares and reach more people. The Mount Dora Marketplace is the fruition of six years planning by owners Mike Ross and Peter Burgess and their project manager Dawn Williams. The first two vendors opened in October of 2019. Here you can buy baked goods, ceviche, artisan popsicles, crepes, candles, plants, mimosas and craft beer all under one roof. I was lured in to the marketplace by Bubble + Juice. They serve sparkling juice and they had a sign for mimosas right on the street. It seemed the perfect way to pass the time while waiting for my daughter to show up for dinner. Singles were $6 or you could get 2 for $10. I ordered the orange lavender mimosa which was very refreshing but they also offer non alcoholic sparkling juice. It was nice to be able to get a before dinner aperitif to enjoy while window shopping. The crepes coming out of Claire's Creperie looked and smelled amazing. If I didn't already have dinner plans I would have visited for sure. I definitely will be exploring more of the vendors on my next visit to Mount Dora.

Loved this corner spot in the heart of Mount Dora! The first thing that caught our eye were the 2 for $10 mimosas to go. I got grapefruit rosemary Mimosa and my husband got a regular Mimosa. It was the perfect pick me up for a hot summer day! So refreshing. Inside they had so many cool stands where they sold anything from ceviche, to bread, to craft beers, to crepes, to delicious baked goods. They also had a plant section with incredible prices!! I bought these hanging plants for $5 with the wooden base! So trendy and a hell of a deal! Will definitely be back to get more plants :).

Love it so far! Still more to come as of opening week, but it's fabulous. Mount Dora really needed a destination place like this. You'd better love rubbing shoulders with others though because it's VERY close quarters inside. Giant artisan pretzels, homemade crepes, decadent cupcakes, local brews and more!!! Ladies restrooms DEFINITELY need some purse hooks though. Great space in Mt Dora, can't wait to see what else is yet to come.

We wanted to check out some antique or vintage shops/malls in Mount Dora area a little after the…read moreholidays. This was one of the locations that came up - the antique center does have stalls open during the week aside from the outdoor market they have outside the facility on Sundays. Similar to some of the other antique malls or multi-stall stores I've been to, there are different stalls that are rented out by different vendors that sell different items. Depending on when you visit, some may not be open for business and will be roped off or have signs saying when they will be open next. We did go when some folks were still off for the holidays, which resulted in a handful of closed stalls, but a good number of the locations were open to wander and shop. Some of the stalls sell vintage and retro items and others like the large toy/doll stall on one of the ends sell deadstock collectible items. I think there's something there for everyone - I saw booths for books, dolls, collectibles, old wartime items, jewelry, and home decor. Pricing does vary for each of the booths and items. Some may run some deals and they will have signs to call out what is on sale in their booth. I did not purchase anything, but I believe if the owner of the booth is not present, you can go to one of the desks throughout the center and ask the folks working there to assist with purchases or for unlocking locked cabinets to see something. There was a decent amount of parking when I went, but if you do go during the outside market on Sundays, I suspect you'd want to go early to get a spot.
