Nice Koreans meal... healthy fast food style meals served here. No chairs ... u stand to eat like a traditional Korean fast food joint . Don't be fooled though , food isn't ur typical fast food . It's a mix of traditional Chinese and Korean food

Best Korean food around town. A bit expensive but the food is good. I recommend the crispy chicken.

The food has good flavor, but be careful - the spicy dishes are VERY spicy. I struggled to finish it because my mouth was on fire!

Wagamama! Try saying that fast five times. I came to visit a dear friend in Milton Keynes and she…read moresuggested Wagamama, somewhere she's been wanting to try for a while. Odd name but since coming here, I've seen their locations all over. It's kinda like getting a song stuck in your head. It wasn't very busy when our party of four arrived so we were seated fairly quickly. The unpadded bench seats may be stylish but not very comfortable and not the easiest to sit on for folks with stiff joints (that applied to our party). Their menu offers some simple Japanese favourites, including ramen (noodle soup), donburi (rice bowl), teppanyaki (stir-fry), and a few other items. We ordered two Chicken Ramen, a Seafood Ramen, Beef Teriyaki Donburi, and Edamame to start. Although everything was ordered at the same time, it all arrived at different times, even the two Chicken Ramen. The first two diners were almost finished before the next dish showed up and then the next. By the end of the night, we never got the Edamame and I didn't get the chance to check if we were charged for it because one of our party grabbed the bill. Thanks, Aunt Rose! The chicken ramen was a bit bland, especially the chicken. The seafood ramen had what looked and tasted like frozen battered fish sticks. The teriyaki beef hardly had any sauce on it. The kimchi was the best part of that dish. Kimchi? That's Korean! After dinner, we had some dessert, mostly ice cream. They were out of one of the toppings so it was just plain ice cream. Wagamama is obviously a chain restaurant so I understand that they need to have consistency in their food but that also usually means simplifying the recipes and possibly compromising on authenticity. Our server was good but the service at this location was not good. Like a lot of places I've been to recently, there are a lot of hard surfaces, making the sound level quite high. Being a visitor, having my first Japanese(ish) meal in England, I don't know how this food compares to other Japanese restaurants in town. Unfortunately, being from Toronto, I've had more authentic meals from a food court. Sorry.

First time having English style Japanese food. I had the Katsu Curry Rice. They use chicken…read moreinstead of pork for a lot of the traditional dishes, i.e. ramen and curry. But still have some pork in the soup stock. But anyway, the curry had nice flavor to it and the staff were nice. Portion seemed small to me (but I'm from the US) and a bit expensive 11+ GBP for the meal and a Coke. But I would go again to try something else.
