Had a specialized test called ABT, I think. Dr. Johnson is friendly, she explained the rest itself and results. She was awesome.

I get an mri of my sinuses and start this medicine regimen. I see her in 6-8 weeks to get results. I wait over 1.5 hours to see the dr to be give options of possible treatments. I contact the Drs after leaving with follow up questions before I decide if surgery is best. No response. I later get a bill for her to look in my ear. I really think their goal is to just get money. I will not go back. You feel like you just a $ Sign and they want to just get money. Hence why they over book and extra charge you. Do not recommend.

We made an appointment for the first time and 2 hours before the appointment, the receptionist called us and said the doctor will be leaving soon and would not be at our appointment. I told her that I could come now but she said the might not have time for me. We made an appointment prior and then got the run around... this is the second time we have had issue with scheduling at this office. My daughter and my son both had a stomach virus and couldn't keep anything down so I called the office and notified them and asked if I could come and They said they were unable to see us so they rescheduled us. Later on I found out that the front desk had put in the system that we are a no show for that day. So when I was heading to our rescheduled appointment, I called to confirm the appointment, I was told my appointment is on another day - weird, but fine. I then showed up that day and was told our appointment was in fact the day I called in and not today.... They are so disorganized here and are not open to accommodating their clients. They wasted so much of my time and my kids both suffered while waiting to see a doctor.

My two children both had a severe speech disorder (aproxia) and each spent over 18 months with the superior team of Speech Therapists to learn how to talk. The Blue Ridge staff are patient and caring, excellent communicators and miracle workers. In addition, I recently returned to Blue Ridge for special hearing tests when my eldest son was having difficulty following verbal directions at school. The talents and sensitivity of Audiologist, Dr. Karen Woolman, are amazing. With the upmost care, Dr. Woolman, patiently explained to this anxious parent exactly what an Audio Processing Disorder is and how she and the staff at Blue Ridge could help my son. At this time, I am thrilled to share that my son is the proud owner of an FM Amplifier (aka his "Hearing Helpers"); and is excited to finally "hear" what he has been missing these last 8 years. So if you are worried that your child is not talking as much as their peers (or in my case at all); schedule a free evaluation with a Speech Pathologist at Blue Ridge. And if your child seems to always ignore you or is always asking you to repeat what you said....go schedule a hearing test. The team at Blue Ridge will ask you a lot of questions and will work with you every step of the way to help your child rich their full potential.

Oh, let me mention, I've just been notified that my local medical office in Lovettsville USA is being closed down by the Leesburg Sterling Family Practice mothership for financial reasons (missing its numbers perhaps). Bottom line is that business like this are focused on maximizing revenue and contribution goals to the "practice" than the patient and the local community healthcare needs. The doctors are now employees under these business structures (with their 9-5 workdays and kickass 401ks) and answer to what the funding source (their management) demands and controls. Hey doc-in-the-box sign these Non-disclosures to ensure you don't stray from the corporate playbook and the big Pharma sales pitches. And if you're Medicare, consider yourselves safe, forget LSFP as an option and my message all together, since seniors need not apply and belong in a third world clinic anyhoot. Folks in Lovettsville are witnessing these keen eye on revenue goals with the closure of this office because, as the email states, it's due to "financial challenges" due to the increasing costs to operate as an "independent medical office" (really, independent?, that lends to an oxymoron you employee-doctor). Following guidance from O'Hanrahan the accountant and LSFP concluded that consolidation is the answer and maximize patient counts and wait times coupled with a good drive allows for inner reflection and self healing. Or is really about pulling the numbers and matching the billing code that maximizes revenues for practice contributions (can't call it profit -- right you kinda like non-profit business entity)? By the way, certain billing codes need not apply. Come on, rather than bringing medical services to the community, the community must now travel to the medical service wherever it may be and a little reflection on a long drive is like a spoonful of big Pharma medicine. Dare I mention now, only if you have a qualifying plan, so call before you go, since there are only six insurance plans accepted. Other plans need not apply. But wait!.. with the right plan and age and pharma gullibility, you still have a choice of five LSFP facilities to inconveniently travel to; and get there early for the free toaster! Maybe not a toaster, unwrapped sausages in a can perhaps? Doctors seem to be focused on trends and administrative checkboxes and counts to satisfy the folks that sign their paychecks and approve their leave rather than individual patient care or well-being. By the way Lovettsville town people, if there's another game in town (or not), my email states that Leesburg Sterling Family Practice will wrap up my medical records in a bow and ribbon to take somewhere else. Didn't state at no additional cost though and no bow or ribbon. Uh-oh, my bad, I just realized, there ain't no Love Et al in the Leesburg Sterling Family Practice sales pitch! Duh, that's the real bottom line. Fare thee well, Dr. M. from the Lovettsville not so independent practice. Patients need not abide.

Extremely disappointing experience…read more After being a patient there for six months, I unexpectedly received a bill. I have no issue paying for services rendered, but I would have appreciated receiving statements along the way instead of one large bill at the end. When I requested a detailed bill so I could submit it to my insurance company, I was told the office does not handle billing directly and that I needed to call an 1-866 number. I left at least ten voicemails. Each time, I was told someone would return my call within two days. I never received a single callback. I then went back to the office in person to request a detailed charge history. I was told I needed to speak with the office manager. After leaving her several messages with no response, I returned again and was told she was in a conference call. On my most recent visit, when I tried to speak with her directly, she refused and shut the door to avoid the conversation. This is a facility I trusted with my medical care. The complete lack of communication, accountability, and professionalism has left me feeling extremely disappointed and disrespected. I will not be returning and would strongly advise others to proceed with caution.
