Umbrella's from $2-5, Mexican and American snacks, generic school supplies, generic household supplies, generic office supplies and a few outdated items. You can also find children's toys and items to organize yourself.
My only gripe was a mouse pad I purchased which gave off a funky odor, do not buy that. In all my years this is the only product which had failed me so far
While some people avoid discount stores because they seek quality products you need to ask yourself a procurement questions. Do I really need a high quality item for this application? How long do I need this item to last? Will spending more for this item really provide any efficiency value or time/effort value? If the answer is no to the last question I have no problems purchasing the item or items here at 99 cent stores, dollar stores, etc.
Kimberly 98 Cents Plus also has a party supply store within a 98 cent store which is small but very suitable. This is maybe 1/8 the size of a party city but if you are quick and smart you can grab your party needs and be out the door with minimal impact on your wallet. I have purchased some of the toys in this aisle as gifts for children, call me a cheapskate but they are nice looking toys.
I am happy to see this small business around in the midst of a national recession and I will patronize again. read more
