Such an amazing representation of how a local community can thrive alongside a successful business…read more It starts with an amazing selection of delicious options on the menu, served by the greatest possible level of friendly service team that are being backed up by a wonderful kitchen staff... The Combination of this level of excellence within the establishment, along the creatively effective leadership from the owners, has blessed the community with a powerhouse in the dining industry. Additionally, the availability for on-site private functions and their catering capabilities has led to their exponential growth and now the move to their new larger location. If you are ready to step up your dining experience with a true local hot spot for hospitality and hearty meals, Angels is your place! I personally know customers that order through Door-Dash and Uber Eats to have their food delivered as far away as Geneva, Oviedo, Chuluota and East Orlando. That alone speaks volumes when you consider the increased wait time and expense of such a great delivery distance. Pure Proof of Product Perfection! *10 Out Of 10* Highly Recommended

You order a surprise meal through the app. It was Sunday and they offer a Sunday dinner so I had high hopes for my order of two dinners. One meal was three pieces of jerk chicken along with sides of rice and black eyed peas. The second meal was baked chicken with mashed potatoes and white beans that seemed to be northern. The chicken was freshly prepared and hot and the meals stayed that way until I got home. I liked that the jerk chicken was not too spicy. Definitely full of flavor and the peas and rice was a nice combination. The second meal was a comforting meal. Two dark pieces of chicken and a scoop of mashed with the simmered northern beans. Each meal came with cornbread which probably was my favorite part. I was happy with my meals and definitely would eat here again. I want extra cornbread and to choose another dish from the menu.

I love supporting local small businesses. Bbee's had been a bookmark of mine for quite sometime…read more This past weekend my husband and I stopped in for breakfast. We were immediately greeted by an older gentleman who I assume is the owner. He was friendly and chatted with us a few times during while we dined it. Customer service - B. My husband had to wait a good 15 mins for a refill on a cup of coffee while the gentleman was in the back. Food - Ugh. I ordered the Jack - double home fries, onions, scrambled eggs, sausage gravy and cheese. My husband ordered the frick frack - large portion of home fries topped with onions, sausage links, bacon, scrambled eggs, sausage gravy with cheese. Unfortunately, both are meals were disappointing. Neither dish had onions. I did hear a blender at one point so perhaps they were blended and were not visible. Also, "sausage gravy." I didn't see any meat in my meal. Again, maybe it was blended? The frick frack didn't come with any sausage links as the description on the menu stated. Overall, our experience was very disappointing. We ordered our meals based on their descriptions and unfortunately, we did not get what we ordered.

Come here a few times for sitdown service and it's always been good. Got a few different orders from here and never really had any complaints. Just another great local Sanford, mom and Pop restaurant.

Fried okra seasoned and fried perfectly - if you think okra is grassy and slimy try it here and you will change your opinion! I don't know how they get their green beans to have that much flavor but still stay bright green and not mushy but they've got a fantastic secret there. Smothered pork chops melt in your mouth and yes you will lick the plate. Potato salad better than any picnic you've been to, collards with legs and soul in the pot. It's a place where everyone seems to know everyone but even as a newcomer we were treated like regulars. I ordered the 3 Rib dinner which included 2 sides, ordered the Baked beans and Mac N Cheese. The Ribs was cooked to perfection, however, the seasoning that they used I didn't like it, there are lots of great reviews here so it may just be my taste buds, it upset my stomach a little. The Mac N Cheese was ok, it was creamy however just a little more salt would've probably made it better. My Fav was the Baked Beans, flavorful with a kick to it, a little on the sweet side but I liked it. The service was great and came out quicker than expected, I went to get a Margarita from the bar and by the time I walked back it was ready.

I tried one thing from every storefront. Browsing the menu of Red Eye's, I saw that they had Brunswick Stew! Being from The South, I grew up with this delicious soup of smoked pork and stewed veggies. And you rarely see it on menus south of Georgia. So seeing it here was a surprise, and I had to try it. It was sooo good. Very deep in flavor, pungent with smoke. And there were plenty of stuff. Lots of sausage, lots of veggies. I was a big fan. Thank you, Red Eyes!
