Dr. Moon and his hygienist (So sorry, I forgot your name!) were amazing. They use the sonic tools for cleaning so you don't have to hear the "SCRAPE SCRAPE" of the old fashioned tools. Dr. Moon asked me if I was happy with the appearance of my teeth, which I don't EVER remember being asked by a dentist. When I told him about my cosmetic concerns, he worked out a plan to give me a movie-star smile. He also had a great chair-side manner, and great hair! Everyone in the waiting room was privy to our conversation, there was no confidentiality. She brought up sensitive personal information on the screen (which was good sized), asked me to verify the information. I wasn't expecting this so of course, could not find my reading glasses to review this on line document. I just said it was fine so I could get out of the queue. I miss seeing the check in staff that is so friendly and personally greats me and makes me feel welcomed. This experience was impersonal and I felt that my personal information was at risk for being compromised. If this is the new "normal" for HFDC I may consider changing to a PPO dental plan so I can choose to go where I am welcomed by a real person.

He was not forceful or annoyed with it. Which made my husband and I all the more comfortable about him being our daughters dentist. After trying to breastfeed for the first couple of days I was an emotional wreck. I took my daughter here and they corrected her lip tie first appointment! The procedure was super quick and the doctor was very friendly and helpful. They were knowledgeable and understood how lip tie could affect the baby. Since the procedure I have been able to breastfeed and my baby is so much happier now that she can latch!! Yesterday I went and saw for the second time a new family member, Doctor Chang, who had give me a shot, and I must say that he has the same skill as Dr Miyazawa.
