Lastly, I get my nails done by Linh at Pieces Nail Salon! Linh is the best! I keep my nails super short and do the gel builder in natural nail for $55. It's $20 more than a regular nail salon which charges $35, but the $20 is worth it! She is appointment only and you must pay a $20 deposit to reserve your appointment. She is always on time and I never have to wait! This is huge for me as a mom. She applies gel builder the correct way, with a paint brush and jar of the builder. On the day of my appointment, Grace greeted me and I was seated immediately. I brought reference photos for the type of curl pattern that I wanted. Grace asked me some questions about my desired curl pattern and explained that she would be trimming my hair so that I could have more volume. My hair is flat so I agreed with her suggestion. Once my hair was trimmed and we discussed the curl pattern, she began the perming process. She talked me through the process of the curly perm and helped me feel comfortable during my appointment. It was busy that day but Grace always made time to checked on me. My appointment was about two hours long and I loved the way hair looked when she was finished. Grace gave me amazing tips on how to maintain the volume and curls, and recommended some products for me to use. She said that I could any products that I'm comfortable with, but I decided to purchase the shampoo, hair treatment, and hair moisture curl that was available at her salon. I used her products for my first hair wash, and my curls still look amazing. I'm definitely going to be buying more from her salon. I had a good experience at Glamourous Hair Salon. Grace has great customer service skills, and is very knowledgable about curl perms and hair. I love my curls and I will be back.
