The communication from Mighty Ducts was awesome and clear. The technicians arrived on time and were efficient and quick in their work. Considering it's been decades since this house had its ducts clean if ever, the price was very reasonable. There was no dust or debris left behind anywhere. Highly recommend this company, especially because they use the negative air pressure system which leaves virtually no trace behind that they have been there.

Mighty Ducts showed up on time and was a good price for the work they did. They drilled through the vents to clean inside and pushed the dusts outs. They sealed it well after they were done too. Two suggestions I would have that covering the vents when they would push the dust out so it would not cause a heavy dust flying in the air in that room and additionally request items to move where they are drilling the vents in the basement so they don't drill on top of the storage items which was harder to clean...

This is an honest company and I wholeheartedly encourage you to contact them for an estimate. Not sure why they have been given a one-star review for mold considering that is a completely unrelated problem to the services this company provides and isn't influenced by insulation. Perhaps that homeowner isn't as familiar with ventilation. All I know is this company has been great, and their google reviews depict a far more accurate representation of their quality of work.

Unfortunately, it came at a HUGE cost. Just over a year ago, we had Myers out to blow in some additional insulation and do some basic air sealing. Now, as a result of them not installing the proper ventilation, we are dealing with a serious mold infestation in a space that had never previously had any issue. After having multiple mold inspectors out, the consensus is clear - the blown in insulation should never have been installed in the way that it was without additional ventilation. This contractor put in an attic full of baffles - without any corresponding soffit vents! If you know anything about insulating an attic, you know that this is basically installation 101. Unfortunately, as a result of their negligence, we are now facing thousands of dollars of mold remediation - all to fix an issue that we never should have or would have had. I seriously warn those considering insulation work to choose another contractor (literally - anyone who has ever installed basic insulation before) rather than engaging with Myers Insulation.

Danny came out and was extremely easy to work with. He explained our options especially since we already had two layers of shingles. Not only did he leave samples that same day, he brought out an additional sample the next day and gave us an address for a home they were working on with one of the choices. That made it easier to decide. The front of our house has a 45 degree roof and he came up with idea's for special installation due to recent new siding. Danny, Bob and their employees were all his professional and extremely careful-especially with the new siding and gutters. BETTER YET.. Unlike most home improvement places, there was no upfront deposit requested. Danny said he would collect full payment upon our approval on completion. Now that's hard to find.

They were able to do the full roof replacement on my little house and some work on the detached garage all in one day (faster than expected). They replaced the chimney and vents with pieces that look a million times better. They went above and beyond in their work (craftsmanship, scope, and quality), and I can't spot one flaw. The team was so friendly and professional, and they get bonus points for being extra nice to my dog (they made her day). All that and they managed to stay in budget, and left the entire property spotless. You don't get that sort of performance without a great leader, so extra points for Eric and his management of both the work getting done and the clients. When I complimented him on this, he gave all the credit to the great crew, which is just another sign that he's a good leader. I was so nervous because I've heard so many roofer horror stories, but my experience is that there is at least one great one out there (Benedict). I'll be using them again in a few years for the garage and definitely will be recommending them in the meantime to anyone that I hear needs a good roofer!

I recently hired AdvantaClean of the West Side to perform mold remediation. The workers were…read morefriendly and diligent. They did well with the basement. There some very tough areas and they took their time to get it cleaned up. It was when they began the dining room that left me dazed. Part of the remediation was to remove plaster from walls where mold may have been growing behind the plaster. Almost all exterior walls were identified on the first and second floors. Given the condition of the house, I agreed. I thought I was hearing just plaster breaking up, but when I inspected the work they had done, I told them to stop. Beneath the plaster was tile block, which they had broken up and exposed the exterior brick walls of the house. If I had allowed them to continue, I couldn't have afforded to have the house put back together and would have lost the plaster crown molding. They made it clear they weren't familiar with this kind of wall construction. After I insisted, it was agreed no more walls would be broken up without my approval. It was left at "It's your house..." In my opinion, the mold was superficial in most of the first and second floors and was removed by scraping off the paint and sanitizing. I was okay with baseboards being removed and sanitized. It's the fact they felt compelled to continue with wall demolition on unfamiliar construction, starting in an area that had the least chance of having mold behind the walls. The company would do well to stick with newer homes where they are familiar with the construction methods and instruct their workers if they get into something unfamiliar, to stop and have it evaluated before continuing. Very costly lesson on my part. Just a quick update and some pictures. I had a general contractor look at the damage and he simply couldn't believe it. He said this is the supporting structure of the wall and it will be very costly to repair. You may want to look for another company if you have an older home.

There are very few companies in the area that rebuild chimney covers. Runyon came out to provide an estimate quickly, and was able to get materials and fix the chimney cover quickly as well. The new one has a drip edge and rubber top and is sided on the side. It is a quality product that looks like it will last a very long time! The most impressive thing though was the professionalism and thoroughness of their crew. The person who came out to do the work was careful not to disturb the neighbor's yard (as my chimney is in her courtyard). They cleaned up everything. And inspected the entire roof while they were here. Any minor issues with nails and caulk or sealant were taken care of -- unfortunately many do not realize that a roof needs regular maintenance for these things -- especially in NE Ohio. They were polite and thorough and it was just an overall GREAT company to work with!

Highly recommended!…read more I called with multiple questions- needed tuckpointing on two chimneys, chimney caps to keep out the raccoons, and an inspection/cleaning of an old wood-burning stove. Scott came out for an inspection and gave me great advice- namely that I would need major repairs and updates to safely use the stove- so he advised me against spending the money to clean it unless I intended to commit to the rest of the project. Scott took his time and explained quite a bit to me. I was in a bit of a hurry to get the chimney work done because I had my new roof on hold waiting for the chimney repairs. Brian came out within a day or two to give me an estimate, then was able to sneak me into his schedule for the next week. Each time they said they would be there, they were. And everything was thoroughly cleaned up before they left! I have two awkwardly placed chimneys and had received multiple repair estimates. Some refused the job, others gave me estimates which were much higher than Good Knight's Sweep. One contractor wanted me to rent a manlift for $1000. Scott and Brian set up scaffolding- off of my upper deck for one of the chimneys, around the power lines for the other- and somehow made it look easy. Brian did the tuckpointing and replaced the crowns on two chimneys- the work was pristine, and they even went back up at the end of the day to clean up a small drip that I never would have noticed. Scott dropped a mothball in the chimneys to keep the raccoons out, then replaced the caps. I have had multiple consultations on how to get the raccoons out long enough to cap the chimneys, all were ridiculously expensive and involved trapping/killing the raccoons- so this solution was amazing. Fees for the caps were also lower than other quotes I received. Finally, I just want to say that these are such nice guys! Scott removed an old antenna that was on my roof and hauled it away. Brian cleaned up some unsightly discoloration on the side of my home that the HVAC guys had left. They could have easily said "sure, I'll do it for $50" or whatever- but both things were done really just as a favor. I'm not someone that normally writes reviews, but honestly just can't say enough good things about these guys. If you need any type of chimney or fireplace work, just call them and look no further.
