Long over due review!…read more I reached out to them due to outlets not working! They came within a couple days. They were very friendly and personable. They did have to come back 2 more time ago the same issue because of some interesting wiring that had been done. They state on the last visit we should have gotten this the first 2 times we were here. This is on us. Great company and I will recommend my friends and family to use them!

We asked them to replace our generator. When the generator didn't arrive as scheduled because of weather, they kept us informed every step of the way. They installed the generator and finished the job in heavy snow. I highly recommend them --from the lady who answers the phone, to the highly skilled technicians to the owner.

We had Universal come out to look at it and perform the repairs. They replaced the compressor and a belt in the outside unit. They did an excellent job and all the work was completed in one day. Since the repairs, our electric bills have dropped by about 35%. I wish I had called them sooner! Universal is an excellent company. They do quality work and reasonable prices. I would definitely hire them again for any HVAC needs and would ABSOLUTELY recommend them without hestitation!!!

He returned and replaced the dip tube, which corrected the problem. We have used Universal previously and were satisfied with their service and price - especially because we dealt with Stephan. However, on this occasion the price of the part (the dip tube) was priced exorbitantly. We complained and were offered a 10% senior discount, which did not compensate for the overpriced part. It's sad that our impression of Universal was diminished by this incident. Anne Walsh

This business is a scam, please do not fall for it…read more They will take your money upfront, keep postponing and then will never show up. Ultimately, we were told we will get a refund but we never got it and had to fight with our bank over it. Mason is top notch and I'd hire Volta Electric again without thinking twice…read more I had a garage built in mid 2019, and I requested that the builder contract the electrical work to Volta as they were Tesla certified. Mason did an excellent job, stayed late to make sure his work was completed on time, and was incredibly friendly the entire time. I had ridiculously bad luck finding an electrician, including being charged for an estimate(!), then thinking I'd found someone (nope... he disappeared), then got an estimator to visit from Davis & Green (never heard from him again) and this delayed our work. Then my sister, a realtor, said her colleagues had had good experience with SmartWire. I called them, spoke to a very nice receptionist who said she'd have their estimator call, and... amazingly... she DID call back that afternoon. Faith runs the show and is a lovely person. Even likes rescue dogs (like mine), and gave me an estimate that was right in line with my expectations. Her guys showed up right on time and were polite, knowledgeable, and very good to deal with. They did the work as perfectly as it could have been done and finished in a day and a few hours the next to label the new panel. They even provided a generator so I could work while they had the power off. This is a friendly, conscientious, hard-working, very reasonable group and they COMMUNICATE well! If you've been overseeing work on your home, you'll likely understand how important that is. I'm having them back in to run more new circuits up to the second floor and back to the garage. Faith and Daniel are good folks and you won't regret having them in your home. I feel very confident in their skill and trust their judgement on the best ways to go about even complex work like retrofitting a century-old pile of stucco like my old house. I've already recommended them to friends, and I'm sure my sister will spread the word at her realtors office. It's a pleasure to recommend SmartWire.
