They'll spring one or two dishonest methods on you that kind of run the same path. They already have you for $75 so they enlarge the complexity of the job in the hopes that you're naïve enough to take it, but if you're smart enough to decline it, they still got your $75. The amount of up charging with this company is insane. Simple fixes become these exorbitant outrageously large jobs. They claim to be honest, but it's clearly dishonest business practices. They do not have your best interest in mind. Is 100% better to find a smaller company that's willing to do a good job without trying to drain your bank account.

They did fix my problem by diverting water from my home, but caused a whole new problem which resulted in a retaining wall failing. I was presented with two solutions but at no time was I told that choosing the less expensive one would result in my wall failing to the tune of $10,000! I am not a structural engineer and was relying on the expertise of Richmond Irrigation. My wall failed 2 years after they did the work which diverted the water from my home and against my retaining wall. They have many reasons why it isn't their fault, but in the end I felt mislead and cheated. BUYER BEWARE!

I have used them to service the irrigation system for a few years. The previous owner used them,…read moreso we contiued. They are a C- operation at best. They have a few great techs, but also some pretty horrible ones. One tech came out multiple times to fix a leaking head. He came out twice to replace the head but that didn't fix it. Another tech came out and diagnosed right away what the problem was and fixed it. We still had to pay for the two times of the tech not knowing what he was doing. The last straw was recently when the exterior pipe had a leak. When the tech came to turn the system on, the issue was discovered. He didn't have the parts to fix so said it would be on another call. A few weeks passed and I didn't hear from them so I called to get them to fix. They came out and fixed this and then installed something that I didn't ask them to fix. I didn't even know what the additional thing was. I called to ask about it and was told the tech said I agreed to it. I wasn't home when the tech came out. I told her tech was lying, I wasn't there. She said the original tech said I told him. I didn't. Left a message for the owner and haven't heard anything. So I ended up having to pay the bill. They charged $150 for something I didn't ask for. I will never do business with them again and will tell anyone who asked exactly why. Unprofessional and no integrity. That isn't a business I want to support.

When the installer came he installed the new controller but never added a new zone. is was a gimmick so they could charge me additional money. That was over a year ago. He just replaced the lightbulb and charged me $150 for the bulb. it turns out I didn't need a new bulb, I had a problem with the wiring. They had throw away the bulb so I had to pay for the new bulb and a second trip to fix the wiring. When I talked to the salesman about it when he was doing a quote for another project he made fun of me and gave me a ridiculous quote. I will no longer use their services.
