They loved splashing around. We also went to the deeper sections of the pool. It wasn't crowded on a Sunday afternoon and the staff there were super friendly. Also, it was refreshing to see a broader diversity of people of all colors here compared to the very homogenous makeup of folks visiting St. Michaels. We'll definitely be back next time we're in town.

They were at first going to try the Yacht Club. That one is 18+ (more like 48+) which is not a bad thing except my young adults said they were afraid that if they even laughed people would stare. Not perfect due to the pricing for those renting a home at Ocean Pines. I understand there is an expense in maintaining pools, and that the owners pay fees, but the $9 per person per day without the ability to pool hop among their many pools if you don't like the one you started in is a bit steep. I think maybe $6 for adults and$3 per kids would be more reasonable, especially since the average stay is around 2 and a half hours. And each person with an ID card is authorized to bring one guest. They have a ton of spin bikes but, unfortunately, few spin classes (unless you're a recruit, lol). There are numerous weight and cardio machines, all kept in excellent working condition. The free weights area is a bit cramped and there never seem to be enough weight benches, but overall, they have everything you need to keep up with your routine and stay fit. One other thing: the staff can sometimes be a bit difficult to track down, and I don't think they have trainers to help develop workout routines like at other military fitness centers.
