I found that very convenient and much more relaxed than ordering at a counter with a line behind you. We ordered the wing portion of Soy Garlic Chicken and Pork Dumplings. I have never had wings like this before. They were breaded, and just the right amount of saucy. I liked having disposable gloves as an option to handle them, that is a game changer for me. They were very sweet, which I am not the biggest fan of. They did have a decent amount of heat, which I was warned about from other reviews. It was the perfect level of heat for me, I don't know if I would try their spicy version. I thought the Pork Dumplings were the star of the meal. They were large in size and cooked perfectly. They had just the right amount of crunch and filling. The sauce that came with it was also on the sweeter side.

The establishment has the current minimalist trend - kiosks for ordering, backless metal stools for the tall table. Well lit. You aren't coming for the decor as you are coming for the tasty & plentiful meal. If you are a chicken sandwich and/or wings person this a good place to go or bring home party trays. There are other items on the menu to consider as well.

Pretty straightforward ordering and collecting your number. The location - This place had very little personality and just didn't have a lot to it. Granted, if you are just having a quick sit and wolfing down some chicken, this is adequate. I will say it was very clean and had obviously been cared for. The food - This was good, juicy fried chicken. No complaints on the flavour. Their specialty dipping sauce is also really good. The downsides... They don't have a thing. Nothing that would make me go get chicken here over any of the other chicken places in town. The kiosk ordering, while great, had items that were out of stock listed that were next to the system in the cooler, and vice versa. I was hoping for more from a place that isn't advertised much and is sort of tucked back in a strip mall. And though good. They need something more. Great prices or great dips, or something to set them apart.

Just a lack of urgency for the staff seems to have an unbalanced cadence. Quick to take the order. Slow to deliver drinks. Quick to deliver food. Quick to check back. Slow to check back again for the check. Slow to process the check. I am not sure if this is a training issue, as many of the staff are young. That said. Other than the cadence, the staff is extremely nice and helpful. This is an old wooden bar. The entire place reeks of the old wood pool hall and is so much fun to just be in. I will be back. I absolutely love wings…read more I recently stopped by Wings Cafe in Westport and had a good overall experience. I ordered the buffalo wings with fries. The flavor was definitely there--the buffalo sauce had a nice kick, and the seasoning was on point. My only downside was the texture of the wings. They were a bit too heavily breaded for my taste, which made them a little soggy instead of crispy. If they had a lighter coating and more crunch, they would have been even better. Overall, I enjoyed my meal, and the flavor made up for the texture. I'd be willing to come back and try other flavors or menu items in the future.
