The lemon pepper seasoning was superb, everything was perfectly fried and delicious! This is my new go-to fried chicken place. Can't wait to come back and try the fried fish and other offerings. Their fries are perfectly crispy!! Note that the sauces in the menu are 75 cents apiece, which they don't have printed, but I would have liked to have known that they cost extra before ordering- not that I mind paying, but when I asked for sauce after getting my order, I didn't feel like swiping my credit card for $.75. But honestly no sauce is needed with the lemon pepper seasoning, and they did include cocktail & hot sauce plus ketchup for the fries (still felt like none were needed- the seasoning is spot on)

I found that very convenient and much more relaxed than ordering at a counter with a line behind you. We ordered the wing portion of Soy Garlic Chicken and Pork Dumplings. I have never had wings like this before. They were breaded, and just the right amount of saucy. I liked having disposable gloves as an option to handle them, that is a game changer for me. They were very sweet, which I am not the biggest fan of. They did have a decent amount of heat, which I was warned about from other reviews. It was the perfect level of heat for me, I don't know if I would try their spicy version. I thought the Pork Dumplings were the star of the meal. They were large in size and cooked perfectly. They had just the right amount of crunch and filling. The sauce that came with it was also on the sweeter side.

We opted for the lemon pepper on our wings which we enjoyed but the pepper was a bit overloaded on the wings. We were stuffed and couldn't finish the fries. The establishment has the current minimalist trend - kiosks for ordering, backless metal stools for the tall table. Well lit. You aren't coming for the decor as you are coming for the tasty & plentiful meal. If you are a chicken sandwich and/or wings person this a good place to go or bring home party trays. There are other items on the menu to consider as well.

Pretty straightforward ordering and collecting your number. The location - This place had very little personality and just didn't have a lot to it. Granted, if you are just having a quick sit and wolfing down some chicken, this is adequate. I will say it was very clean and had obviously been cared for. The food - This was good, juicy fried chicken. No complaints on the flavour. Their specialty dipping sauce is also really good. The downsides... They don't have a thing. Nothing that would make me go get chicken here over any of the other chicken places in town. The kiosk ordering, while great, had items that were out of stock listed that were next to the system in the cooler, and vice versa. I was hoping for more from a place that isn't advertised much and is sort of tucked back in a strip mall. And though good. They need something more. Great prices or great dips, or something to set them apart.

Related, but they appear to have a deal with Cosentino's Grocery Store in Brookside where they sell a select amount of their pizzas near the deli area. This used to be so good and such a good deal, but they've shifted to a plastic shrinkwrap version and it's so mid. There's barely any cheese or sauce on it at all, making the thin crust more of an overpriced cracker. I mention all that to say.. it's the same in the restaurant now. We used to love their STL pizza, the thin crust, especially when you dine at the restaurant. Pair that with an old-school salad bar and this spot used to hit every single time. Now, the pizza we had was burnt, barely any toppings, and honestly overpriced for what it was. The salad bar featured wilting everything. Wilted and wet spinach, brownish limp iceberg lettuce, peas with crystals of ice on them, and a dressing so thick is stuck to the container. This used to be a safe rec for a wonderful local pizza joint, and I hope my experiences are one-offs. As it is, this one is pretty much out of our rotation these days.
