I have a 210mm gyuto that was basically destroyed by a relative of mine. He used it to cut bones,…read moreand put several deep chips in the edge. He tried to sharpen them out, but ended up making it far worse. I found Knives Edge Japan and they were willing to give it their best shot repairing the 7-10 2-3mm deep "serrations" in my gyuto. They were done in a day, and they completely restored the edge to top performance. Not only is the knife repaired, but it's far sharper than I have ever been able to get it with my edge pro. What I thought was a loss of a nice Makoto White #2 gyuto came out with a nearly perfect restoration, with great care given to restore the original edge profile. So grateful for Knives Edge Japan's hard work to save this knife!

We also had a small issue where the power head would occasionally stop when pulling back. These guys charged $220 just to drop it off. When they called saying it would be another $600+ to fix it, we said, "No - just clean it up and be done." Since the $220 drop off fee was supposed to be for "Miele Service" we thought that would be the price. Nope. They charged us for a "head assembly overhaul" which we didn't authorize, a new hepa filter ($25 more than what I can get it off Amazon), some random "vac shop supplies" for $40, and the 3% credit card fee they get charged, was charged back to us. They wouldn't return the vacuum if we didn't pay for it the head assembly overhaul because they had already taken the entire head apart - again - without our authorization. DO NOT GO HERE.
