I really enjoy coming here, the drinks are great and food too! The people working behind the bar are fantastic! Place is really chill on weekdays and even weekends! Definitely recommend coming here!

Great location. Amazing food. Great staff. Owner is cool. Thursday-Saturday night college drink specials. Daytime lunch is dope. Best Bartender, Rich!

Shrimp po'boy

Stopped in here for a quick bite before catching a show at NJPAC. On a week night the place was packed at around 7 PM. The bartender was super nice and attentive and made some good shot recommendations. For food I had the Shrimp Po'boy which surprised me. Being in a pub, I expected the shrimp to be heavily fried, but instead they were grilled with a Cajun spice dry rub. All the other components of the sandwich were good and the bread was perfect; the only improvement I could think of would be to have a little bit more remoulade sauce on the sandwich. I would definitely recommend hitting up Kilkenny's if you're in the area, great friendly atmosphere*, solid food, good prices...... what's not to like? *Interesting side note: aside from the bartender I was one of 3 women in the joint and the place was packed.

Irish chips and most importantly crab cake sliders! Ps they're pretty big!

Crabcake sliders. That's all you need to know. But if you insist on reading, let me tell you, they might change your life. You may move to Newark or run against Mayor Cory Booker just to get closer those little squares of heaven. Besides the sliders though, their wings are perfectly crunchy, their Irish fries aren't cheap on the bacon and more importantly their vodka tonics are nice and strong. I usually come for happy hour for better prices on drinks, but lunch is good here too (especially in the spring when they open their giant side doors). Street parking is usually available...oh and did I mention the Crabcake sliders? They're amazing. I'm taking away 1 star because sometimes they take way too long to get you your order and I hate when the waitstaff lets my glass go empty.

Nice atmosphere. Great service and patrons. Prices are reasonable. A nice place to chill and be chilled with a cold one.

Cranberry Almond Salad. Love.

In 26+ years of living in NJ, I had no idea there was a huge sports bar teeming with Knicks fans, & featuring hi def television screens mounted literally in every direction, including up! Add to this an oversized menu with too many delicious sounding food & drink options to decide on ... Following tonight's Knicks record setting, series clinching blowout vs. the upstart Atlanta Hawks, MRH became my #1 "go to" destination to drink & stuff my face, while binge-ing on the evening's "must watch" College & Pro sports events. The reason I give it 3 stars is because I don't think they've ever gotten my food order 100% right. They make a tasty burger, but they always forget at least one requested topping on the burger. The menu says "lettuce, tomato, and onion on request" and even though I always request all three, I never get all three. If I ask for a different kind of cheese, I get American anyway. A lot of the time my receipt will have all of my requests on it, but the burger doesn't match. Also, they seem to have downgraded their onion rings. The old ones were awesome and were a major selling point for me as an onion ring enjoyer. The new onion rings remind me of Burger King. Overall solid spot with a nice Irish pub vibe. Waitresses are mostly cool and friendly.
