The Commerce Street Market can be comparable to an indoor flea market consisting of many local vendors. However, much better than your average flea market. One can find a large variety of merchandise available for all ages. Also check out their Facebook page for updates on sales and arrival of new merchandise. She's running a business, and should treat any potential customers politely and with respect. Do not do business with this lady. I called to see if she would be interested in doing business with me, as I have several items that I would like to put on consignment. Before I could even tell her the details of my items, she quickly responded with "I'm not interested in anything you have." She then proceeded to hang up the phone on me. I'm an understanding person, and I get it if business is not good right now, but there's a right and wrong way to speak to people. In my opinion, she is not very good with customer service.

She buys things for the kids all of the time. Recently, she found a dresser here for my Grands nursery. She told my kid about it and kid came to check it out and it was gone. Kid found it at another place like this in Collierville for like $250 more than it was here. The exact same one! Crazy thing is.... They bought it! A majority of the booths are filled with small collectables and home decor. There are a few pieces of small furniture as well. Some of the stuff is over priced but there are some really good deals here too. It's not a huge store but you can easily spend over an hour poking around and checking out all the treasures. That's what I told my husband when I left there. I hadn't been in a few years, but I kept seeing ads of all of the things they carry, so I had to stop in again. So glad I did! They carry pottery from Fingerprint, Tab Boren, Etta B, and Crossroads Pottery, just to name a few. I was looking for a present for a Malaysian…read morefriend and I ended up getting a great cooking book with recipes from Mississippi, the book was very good, they loved it, and the ladies from the store even wrapped it so beautiful, it was a really good gift that they really liked and appreciated. I also got a really good marmalade (raspberries and jalapeno) for a good appetizer with friends. Overall, I always hit this store for nice and unique gifts(usually silver jewelry) and they're always a hit.
