She has small children running around everywhere, she's nowhere to be found when you need her and dresses like a model from Goodwill. Every time I have been in there, she's been too busy gossiping or gabbing on the phone to be of any assistance. She's rude if you dare interrupt her gossip session to ask a question. It seems the only reason she owns a business is to swap information about her customers, frenemies and neighbors. I know it's a small town, but have some decorum and respect for your customers!

I received a gift and went to exchange the gift. I wasn't aware that there was a time limit for exchanges, and this was no problem because most stores have this practice. I stated that the gift was purchased and presented to me. The lady asked me if I had anyone to give it to....talk about offensive. Once again, I understood their return policy and didn't question the policy at all. But the lack of sensitivity is what I question. I wanted the gift simply because someone gave it to me, and the store employee kept my receipt. Lastly, the store is overpriced for the products. Cute little whatnots...but not for me.

The staff at Paradox are also so incredibly helpful and kind. They are always there to welcome you and are genuinely excited to have you in their store. It's also incredible how much they know about their product. I will simply be admiring a piece in the store and somebody from the team will come over, notice what I'm looking at, and share with me a whole story about the artist, where it's from, how it's made, etc. Ultimately, I cannot recommend this beautiful store enough to both local Memphians or folks visiting from out of town.
