Bathrooms were very clean and we were pleasantly surprised at the availability to purchase ice and firewood. I am really surprised at these other recent negative reviews posted. A group of Asian friends (I am identifying this as it was singled out on their reviews) was camping right next to us and they were having a good time and they had no issues with the site managers or staff. I would recommend this campground personally. We had a great time. There are a lot more trailers then tent camping and it was nice as tent camper not to have the crowds and lines for bathrooms. Only issue is the bathrooms are for individuals with sink, toilet and shower so if someone takes a long time getting ready (or believe it or not doing their makeup) you have to wait to pee. Great place to camp. Right at the riverside. Not a lot of tree coverage so can get hot be prepared.

Such a disrespectful business, no leadership skill was present whatsoever therefore sharing our side of the story was pointless and irritating. In short, we were falsely accused of ridiculous activities and found an unauthorized charge on our credit card. During times like this, you would think we would be treated with equality. Our bathroom rights were taken away as punishment. What a joke.

August long weekend, the sun is blaring, perfect time for camping! That's what everyone thought…read moretoo and after roaming around Chilliwack, our campground scout finally found something available at the brand new Cheam Fishing Village just outside the town of Agassiz. Cheam Fishing Village is located right along the Fraser River on First Nations land. The campsites are laid out a bit like parking lot spots, with enough room for a trailer and picnic table. You have your choice of being river front or along the path where there is more shade from the trees. Each campsite has running water fed from the river. Cheam Fishing Village is not your typical BC provincial parks where your neighbour campers are cushioned with shrubs and big enough for the Goslings' motor home. It is designed for fishermen to set up camp, go out to the river, do some fishing and then camp out to rest. Hence, the running water at every site. You can walk down to the river where the boat launch/dock is, but it's not much of a beach with all the dinosaur egg type rocks. However, grab a chair and clunk it right into the water and enjoy the serenity and view. Forget something? Need ice? Ran out of booze? That's ok, hop across the highway and you're in town in 15 minutes. Don't want to lose touch in your social media circle? That's ok too, you get full reception for all your picture sharing or quarrel verifications. Not much of a fisher(wo)man but I would definitely go back to Cheam Fishing Village again for a quick camping trip.

Yes, it is dusty traveling the last mile there and the campground has lots of gravel, but there is a sweetness, and heart-felt friendliness that overwhelms a little dust acquired coming and going.

The only real complaint we had was the weather, which isn't their fault, and that we couldn't stay longer. The park is very well cared for and there is a lot going on. Activities most days that are actually attended. We were camped right next to the park and our kids had friends to play with any time of day. We liked the way the park is setup. It isn't just a big square grid of rvs. It has some character. Park and rec center in the middle either little rows if rvs around it. Lots of bathrooms and showers. Very clean. Cleaned every day. Garbage collection from your site every day. Pool was awesome. Heated just right and really cool couches and cabanas. Staff was fantastic. Every interaction I had was good. They are on top of things and very well organized but more interested in people than the rules. Perfect mix. Thanks guys. We will be back.

He asked me to leave the store, he even said that I was banned from the store, that I should leave before he even called police!! He didn't let me finishing my shopping (marshmallow)... A boy in the store said that he would take care of it and he bought the things from us... Everything started when I asked the manager for some minutes to talk. He invited me to his office (in the same store...)... We sat and I explained that I was sad to see what the family room has become. The foosball table, ping pong table, tv, babies area.. everything has been replaced for a table with many plugs to connect cellphones and computers... A big table that it is very tall...too tall for a kid to use has been placed in the middle of the room...it is not an area for kids to play anymore.... His answer was that the family room used to be "a free babysitting area, but not anymore". Then he said: the conversation is over, get out of the store....I said but I wanted to give my point as a mom with kids....we use to play there...it was one of the best family rooms of Thousand trails... OUT! YOU ARE BANNED FROM THIS STORE!! GO OUT BEFORE I CALL POLICE!!! I said that I wanted to finish shopping with my son...he said no...my son left the marshmallow and cookies aside... Many people were in the store...one boy said that he will take care of it..and bought the things for us... I was shocked... Went back to my site... My husband very mad .. The attitude of the manager was shocking.. too rude. We have been members for many years..maybe 5 years... And kids were always very important in Thousand trails... Very sad to see. Sad and scarry. Beyond. Looking forward for someone to look into this situation.

I'm not going to lie, I had no expectations going into this trip and was pleasantly surprised with how relaxing and wonderful our stay was here. The RV park is easy to find and conveniently located a 5 minute drive/10 minute walk from Harrison Lake. The facilities staff are super friendly and helpful. On one of the mornings our car battery died and they quickly came to the rescue to help jump start our car. They also have a hot tub, pool, and a clubhouse with TV access, which was fantastic so that we could watch the NBA playoffs (game 7!!!) one of the evenings. Whether you're looking for an RV park to park your camper/RV or rent from one of the RVs that are already there, I'd highly recommend Springs!

My family's favorite spot for weekend camping…read more We are usually at this camp ground twice a year. The good: this campground has over 150 powered sites. There's renting and lake front camping as well. There's a laundromat and store where you can pick up snacks or forgotten supplies. The store also sells firewood but the store is only open during peak season. There are multiple playgrounds for kids as well as a basketball court. Each site has a picnic table and fire ring. The bad: the camp sites are close together so you can be right on top of your neighbors, the noise levels can be pretty loud at times but that can be expected in a location like this. This season the washrooms were not well maintained but with Covid causes changes and rules constantly hopefully it'll be cleaner in the future

The owners clearly squish in everyone, everywhere not leaving an inch extra space. You literally cannot see the trees for the forest of RV's, there are so many roads throughout you might as well be driving on a suburban street in Burnaby. Well, at least you can park on a suburban street. This horrendous space and aesthetic issue is for both the seasonal sites and tenting sites. Trying to get away from the city? Not here...overpriced and no room, might as well stay home.

There were people performing music on the stage and park goers enjoying on the grass. Just to the left of the stage there's a path to the beach. Another 2-3 minute descent brings you to a trail going left and right. The path to the left is a short trail to a rock you can sit on and climb down to get to the water. Further that way there's another beach. The path to the right leads to a nice beach with a great view and a shade tree. There were some bugs in the washed up kelp, but nothing too bothersome imho. We had a stand up paddleboard so we used the path on the right after the stage area. I would recommend anyone bringing gear down (scuba, kayaks, paddleboards) to use this beach. Larger crafts can use the boat ramp just north of this beach, and you can drive right up to that ramp (north of the stage and parking area). It was a beautiful park and a great place to picnic, enjoy the water, and view the sunset!
