I am so happy to have found this place. It has been a wonderful experience in many respects. Going here almost feels like bringing clothes to your mom with a request that she fixes them up for you. This mother and daughter combo are the friendliest people I have met in Chicagoland. They are genuinely warm, engaging and hospitable. They remembered my name after the first drop off and they consistently offer service with a smile. My clothes look fabulous and can be cleaned in a millisecond. Same day pick up is available. 24 hour is offered at no extra charge. They only accept cash or checks and secure payment at pick up. No credit cards. read more

Kiki's Magic Touch Cleaners - Signage and entrance - Sewing & Alterations Near Me - Addison, Illinois

Remember when the service industry and retail locations used to ask, "How may I help you?" Nowadays it's gone to touch-less, online, QR this and QR that and telling the customer what they have to do if they want service versus asking. Kiki's is the, "How may I help you," type of place. I've been using Kiki's for several years and it's consistent, friendly and on-time/early. Prices are great as well. Heck, I even get called names when walking in. That would be my names, first and last. Who remembers their last customer anymore let alone the person's name? Not many. Kiki has dry cleaned clothes and bedding for me as well as tailored some things. All has been done very well and as expected. All with a warm customer focused service attitude. To all the Law Enforcement, Fire, EMT, etc and all who support those folks like office staff, dispatchers and so on, she backs you too. read more

Kiki has redefined the definition of customer service. Everyone who walks into her business is greeted as if they has been friends for decades. Her attitude is infectious in that if you didn't have the best of days when you first walked in, by the time you leave, you will be walking with a spring in your step. The quality of her work is unparalleled. If a spot is pointed out when the cloths are dropped off, she will work on it until it has been removed regardless of how long it takes. Additional charges for her time to remove spots are not part of her vocabulary. If the spot is unable to be removed by Kiki, it can't be removed by anyone. If there is an issue with your cloth that you didn't know about, Kiki will fix it. Kiki and her wonderful daughter Effie are a true tag team...how many mother-daughter ran businesses do you know in this day of age that tension isn't through the roof? If you are like me, you'll scour through your home to find cloths for them to clean to keep them going. The bottom line is Kiki Cleaners is a great place to bring your cloth for an incredible value. read more

Such a sweet lady. Work gets done well, while keeping prices extremely reasonable. Definitely want to go back! read more

Love this place and the owner! So kind, such good service! My clothes look brand new after they're done! Definitely recommend! read more

This is a generational and community based dry cleaning business. Impeccable dry cleaning services, they actually clean the clothes and then press not like other places where only pressing is done to look pretty. I clean my white coats, I altered dresses here. Corner little place but quality is what I need. read more

Cleaned 1 pair of pants ($4.50) 2 jean waists taken in (2 x $9.50) They did a good job cleaning my pants, even got out a water stain out another cleaner didn't get out last time, score! Creases were on mark. Didn't really check to make sure they use biodegradable chemicals or are eco-friendly but I usually give cleaners some bonus points for doing so I wouldn't really take my jeans here to get the waists take in. They use darts which means they fold a triangle and sew the crease which is a really crude method. The darts were placed on the back above each back pocket which makes it really obvious to anyone looking at your butt. I'm tempted to undo the stitches because it bothers me so much. Overall this place was alright, the staff was super friendly and the cleaning job was excellent, would my dirty stuff here in a heartbeat. I'm sure they can hem jeans well but complex tailoring involving taking stuff part and putting it back together may be best suited elsewhere. Word of warning: THEY DO NO TAKE CREDIT. read more

My family and I have been going to Kiki for YEARS and she and her daughter Effy have become part of our family. She truly has the magic touch. Prices are unbelievably good for stellar work. My mom travels a lot for work and doesn't always have much time to run errands. Kiki has learned her schedule so well that her clothes are always fresh and ready whenever she gets a chance to swing by the store. Kiki's attention to detail and thoughtfulness is exceptional as well. She always replaces a button when she notices your shirt is missing one. Her hemming services are top notch, fast, and insanely affordable. Even specialty cleaning projects, like tablecloths and down comforters, are a breeze for Kiki and come out flawless every time. Her location is convenient when running errands, like picking up flowers, running to the bakery, or ordering a prescription. We love going to Kiki's and I wish I could find a dry cleaner even half as good in NYC! read more

This is one of the best businesses in Addison and it's personally my favorite dry cleaning service! I've been coming to Kiki's for about 4 years or so and, barring any crazy turn of events, will not go elsewhere. I only stop in every 6 months or so, but it's always a delight. Kiki is so sweet and takes such good care of my garments. I've brought in shirts, skirts, blouses, dresses and coats. They've all come back looking amazing and I find Kiki's to be affordable. I believe 2 fall coats were $25 or $30 last time. I just picked up 3 dresses for $30. She's always been able to get them back to me within a week, but she doesn't mind holding them a little longer for me since my schedule is hectic. I pretty much believe that if I can't wash and dry an item of clothing myself then it doesn't belong in my closet. I make some exceptions, and those items need exceptional care. I know Kiki's will deliver the quality that they deserve. read more

The older woman is the best. She could charge me double what she asks for and i would still come back every time. Anything with clothing I have done here. She's an expert and she's more than fair with her prices. I consider it a favor and an honor to have her work on my clothing. read more

We have trusted Kiki's cleaner's for 38 years. We would never go anywhere else. One of the best businesses in Addison. Kiki and her daughter have become close family friends and she is an absolute gem of a person and a delight to be around. She does exceptional work and has extremely fair prices. We truly treasure her and her business. read more

I can't believe I have not written a 5 STAR review for Kiki's! I absolutely love her. She's friendly, helpful and makes me feel at home. I've gone to Kiki's for cleaning and alterations and never does she nor her staff disappoint. My latest visit I had to get a bridesmaid dress altered in a few areas and she even noticed a rip, which she said they will take care of. Being only my second time having a dress alter I wasn't sure what to expect. It was a little hectic since it's super warm in the cleaners and you would have to change in the bathroom then walk all the way up front to where the long standing mirror is so Kiki can pin my dress where I would need shortened or tightened. It was a bit unorthodox, but the dress turned out perfect! The perfect length for short heels or just flat sandals. I was extremely comfortable in my dress while dancing the night away. Thanks Kiki's Magic Touch! read more

I brought what seemed to me like a mountain of very overdue dry cleaning to this cleaners. My first visit to drop off was interesting, in that the owner's daughter was treating me like family within five minutes of my arrival. I was advised that next time I should lint roll the pet hair off my coat (oops) to make cleaning easier, and I left with positive feels regarding the outcome of my clothing. And sure enough! I received a leather jacket (which they sent out specially for me), four skirts, two blazers, a pair of trousers, and a winter coat, cleaned and pressed, for $80 DOLLARS. WHAT A FREAKIN' DEAL. I felt like my mom did my laundry for me all over again when Kiki herself patted my cheek, told me I had great taste in color, and told me to run along. My clothes went from a pile of coffee and ink stained mess of office wear, to the beautiful cuts and colors I remember purchasing from the store, in under a week. Loyal customer FOR LIFE. read more

I just moved to Elmhurst and have been looking for a good dry cleaner. I had lived down the street from a CD One in the city previously, and absent the convenience of that, I had to find something new. Kiki's was it! After reading all the reviews on here about them, I decided to entrust my baby's baptism outfit to them. They did a great job and were so friendly. They do all their cleaning on premises too. I like that in a dry cleaner. I haven't had to have anything altered yet, but I will definitely go there for the alterations and update my review accordingly. read more

This place is amazing. I'm extremely glad I found it on yelp. What original drew me to pick it was the movie "Kiki's Delivery Service". No relation of course, but Kiki is an unusual enough name that I had to check it out. Kiki is very friendly and makes you feel welcome. Prices were much lower than I expected ($13 for 4 shirts and a pair of pants). I went back about 3 weeks later and Kiki still remembered our previous conversation. She must have a great memory for sure. Thank you Kiki! read more

Kiki is magic. I had two pairs of dress pants hemmed and they are absolutely PERFECT! couldnt be happier. the price was reasonable, they had them back to me sooner than expected, the place smells like italian pastries because of the bakery next door, and the lady behind the counter {kiki?} is so sweet. Found this place on Yelp and it totally paid off. The address is WEST Lake street... NOT EAST... so i got alittle lost, but i called and they were happy to steer me in the right direction. read more

It took me forever to find a cleaner that could do same-day service. Who has time to pre-plan dry cleaning? Anyways, this is a "short but sweet" review: - Same day cleaning! YES! - Friendly service! - Fair prices! I'll be a repeat customer. read more

I used to take my dry cleaning and shirts here and always had good service. The last time I brought my shirts in, I eventually discovered that they had swapped in a different shirt that was probably abandoned from a different customer(probably to try to replace one they lost or destroyed). The shirt I brought in was a dress shirt with French cuffs. The one they game me was a tuxedo shirt that needed studs to button (which I never owned or wanted). They even wrote my name (incorrectly) on the shirt they gave me to cover their tracks. It is apparent that they deliberately fabricated their story and premeditated the lie. They do good service as long as there isn't a problem. When there is a problem, forget about getting it resolved. read more

Local and authentic! Kiki is fabulous! She altered a dress for me for about $30 when I was new to the area in a wedding soon. After a great experience, I continued to use her for dry cleaning! It's not always an exciting day when I have something to take her so I can say hello to her! read more

I have been a customer of Kiki for a really long time. She is always courteous and friendly. I have had many services done there, and everything is always handled with care. Great service and timely! I had some stains on my suit and I took it to farmwood cleaners which is just a little further on lake st. They took around 2-3 weeks just to give me back my suit and say they tried everything (spot cleaning, etc) to get rid of them but nothing works. Don't remember how much I had to pay for all the service, but definitely was not pleased. I then gave my suit here at kiki's and she removed the stains, gave it back to me in less than 4 days, and it honestly looks brand new. Great price, awesome service, will definitely be giving my business here always! read more

KIKI is one of the most caring and hardest working people I know. She always does the best job because she loves her customers and appreciates the loyalty they bring. I'm a guy... so it's always been SUITS, BLAZERS, and DRESS SHIRTS for me. Her hemming is also incredible. Her prices are extremely low too. It's been the only place I ever known and the only place I will ever go to. I TRULY LOVE THAT WOMAN! read more

Kiki's is the best. Looking for a great price and personal service? My dress shirts and pants turn out beautiful. Take your tailor / seamstress / dry cleaning needs to see Kiki, she will take great care of you. Those infamous big chain joints continually destroyed my dress shirts. No More, Kiki's is the place! I love going to Kikis, every time I walk in she is there to greet you with a smile and make you feel welcomed! The best part is the service they provide, I took a wool coat to one price cleaners and I was not satisfied with the result it looked the same with lint all over it. So a few months later I took it to Kikis and WOW it looks like new again! I am a life long customer now! read more
