It was a nice program but not great customer service by the owner. I would return to another location not Bethpage.

I rarely write reviews, but I feel so grateful to have become part of the Mid Island Gymnastics…read morefamily that I want others to know about this incredible gym. We originally came to Mid Island while my daughter was competing at another Long Island gym. Although she was doing well there, I began to feel that the focus had shifted too heavily toward competition scores above all else. While success at meets is important, I wanted a gym that also prioritized my daughter's self-esteem, motivation, and -- most importantly -- her love of gymnastics. So, we took some time to explore our options, visiting a few nearby gyms and taking advantage of trial classes. The moment we stepped into Mid Island and met Meghan, the owner, we knew instantly that we had found our new gym home. Meghan's love for children is apparent in everything she does -- from her warm, welcoming demeanor to her flexibility in accommodating her students' busy schedules. The coaching staff at Mid Island shares that same passion. They not only teach the technical skills of gymnastics but also nurture the social and emotional growth of every child. Each coach brings their own unique style and perspective, which gives gymnasts a well-rounded approach to learning new skills. Yet, no matter their individual methods, one thing is consistent -- their genuine care for the athletes and love for the sport. The facility itself is large, clean, and thoughtfully organized. Classes flow smoothly from event to event thanks to well-planned rotations that ensure groups have plenty of time to practice while avoiding overcrowding. Beyond the technical training, what has meant the most to me is the uncompromising commitment to safety. As a mom, I have peace of mind knowing the coaches prioritize my daughter's physical readiness and proper form over everything else. She feels secure enough to be brave here because she knows her coaches truly have her back. But the real magic of Mid Island is the profound sense of family Meghan has built. She doesn't just run a business; she nurtures a community. Through the Friendsgiving gatherings, festive holiday parties, and the beautiful end-of-the-year banquet, Meghan creates "out of leotard" moments that turn teammates into sisters. These traditions have given my daughter memories (and friendships) that I know will last a lifetime. The friendships I've made with the other parents have been just as life-changing. We aren't just sitting in a lobby together; we've become a support system. We've laughed through the long meet weekends and formed our own bonds during the gym events Meghan hosts. There is nothing quite like sitting in the stands with people who have become your dear friends, cheering for every single girl on that floor as if she were your own. In a sport that can so often feel high-pressure and individual, Mid Island has given us a warm, supportive village. My daughter hasn't just gained new skills here--she's gained a second family, and I've gained one too. Finding Mid Island has truly been a blessing. My daughter's confidence, drive, and joy for gymnastics have flourished here, and for that, I'm endlessly thankful.

We enjoyed the Taylor Swift visit and songs, lip gloss making, cupcakes and tote decorating activities! Her suggestion on food choice via a nearby vendor was also perfect for the occasion. Everyone in attendance had a wonderful time crafting (we chose stuffed animal puppies, complete with hearts, collars, and tshirts, as well as lava lip glosses). The store is gorgeous, clean and sophisticated, and the staff that helped the kids craft that day were friendly and knowledgeable. It was also great that the parking lot was nearby and covered (it was raining heavily that day - but we didn't get wet at all!) I highly recommend Let's Craft for your next kids birthday party or ladies night out... I will surely go back!!!

Probably more like 3.5 stars but I'll round up since the kids always have a blast…read morehere...surprisingly not as terrible as I had it pictured in my head, the Hicksville outpost of the mouse themed child casino is about as clean as one could hope for, most games are working most of the time, staff are mostly attentive albeit often stretched way to thin to take care of everyone quickly but that's not their fault. Some tips: first, download the app and create an account - even if you don't get one of the monthly passes you'll still get coupons for discounted food, trampoline area etc. Second, if you're going to order food do it when you first get there as it can take a while, we've found if we place the order first thing the kids get a good amount of time to play and can then come take a break for food before doing it all again. Aside from the usual visits we also did my son's birthday party here a few months back. They have a systen where you can book online and the store will then call you for the particulars. This is one area where I do feel they could use some improvement. The package we picked came with pizza, drinks & dippin dots for the kids. The coordinator who called a few days prior insisted they we could only pick one drink type and one dippin dots flavor for everyone. Weird as we could've sworn we'd seen variety at other parties we'd been there for. Sure enough we confirmed with some other parents that they'd had no issue getting 2 or 3 drink options etc for their parties, not sure why this person wasn't accommodating but it is what it is. They also need to do a much better job having the right number of cards ready for the kids, we gave a count when the coordinator called and they were about a half dozen short leaving some kids waiting to get started on arrival. Same goes for having the correct number of plates, cups etc for them. The party turnover was abysmal, literally stood there waiting at our arrival time for the party before us to finish and clear their stuff out of our area before we could get to the tables, frustrating when you're given a timeframe and are expected to be out when it's done. They really need to give a 15 or so minute buffer between parties to accommodate the changeover. Those annoyances to one side the party wasn't as crazy expensive as I feared and my son had a blast which at the end of the day is all that matters. So bottomline if you're cool with your ears bleeding for a few hours while the kids get overstimulated by flashing lights and dancing mice it'll be a great time for all. Hopefully they sleep well for you afterwards.

We love coming here because they have some game machines that we don't have by us in Flushing. Also, the ac is comfortable here. It feels more spacious in the Hicksville location. Chuck E. Cheese in Hicksville is the best one I have been to so far and definitely deserves two thumbs up from me! We love creating happy memories here!
