This indoor kids play gym opened inside Erin Mills Town Center in May and I've been taking my toddlers there every few weeks. The space is clean, bright, not crowded and has free WiFi (perfect for posting pictures of your kids online while they play). The open concept makes it easy for you to keep an eye your kid. There are plenty of individual bathrooms and are always kept clean and tidy. There are signs saying no outside food is allowed, but I always pack snacks and drinks in the diaper bag for my little ones for them to refuel. Admission does allow for in/out privileges, so you can go for a quick Starbucks run in the mall or refuel at the food court. There is one main 2-storey structure that is accessed by a padded staircase. At the top is a large balloon room (adults are allowed in) and a clear bouncy room that leads to the top of the big slides. My kids love the merry go round and the smaller slide with a tunnel underneath. There is another balloon room on the main floor space with huge balloons and large fans that continually blow them around. There are party rooms that accommodate for birthday parties. While my 1- and 2-year-old love this play gym, I can see how the juvenile structures will only entertain the younger 5 and under crowd. If your kids are older, I would recommend you going to a different play gym with larger climbing structures. Wednesdays are the best time to go as admission is half price! $7 for toddlers 2 and up.

    Amazing Fun Park

    Amazing Fun Park

Large spacious play gym with lots to do for kids ages 2-10! I took my kids ages 7&9 to Amazing Fun…read morePark on a Saturday and was pleasantly surprise that the place was even more Amazing in person (compared to their photos). The forest-like entry leading to the check in desk was super cute, check in process was quick (you'll need to sign a waiver for the kids) and after a wristband (to see which patrons' 2-hour play was up), you can remove your shoes, put them in the cubby hole and hang up your jackets (this was a plus since everyone has a bulky jacket during the winter months). There is a stage for kids to sing karaoke and record 360-degree dance videos. You can also check their schedules online as there are bands, princesses, face painting, magic show and the like. There are lots of picnic tables for parents to sit and for birthday parties. There are cute trees and 3D art scattered throughout so it feels like you're in a magical forest. My kids gravitated to the rides - you can ride a dinosaur or drive a 2-person LED-lit car. The vehicles move super slow so even toddlers. An manage them. You basically drive in a circle around this lit up floral/grass area. Right outside this space was the VR experience. Not only do you put on the VR glasses, but the entire 'car' moves (very gently). The first game I played was to shoot the red bugs - you look at the bug, then press the button on your seat to shoot them. I did ask if the VR experience can be ramped up if there are no kids aboard - and they do! We did a walk through of a creepy psychiatric hospital. There is also a huge ball pit area. There was a jungle gym within the ball pit and all along the walls were interactive play tubes. My kids also like the tabletop games, it's a huge touch screen running Android apps. There was also an interactive glowing tile floor. This was difficult to play cuz everyone was running in it at the same time and not really following the rules. Overall, my family had an amazing time. It would be nice if the interactive vehicles went a bit faster and maybe have a cafe of some sort to buy coffee.

What made this experience extra special was that the management team of the AFP were more than kind enough to alter the AFP schedule to accommodate The Pines Adult Day Centre. As soon as we entered the AFP, we were welcomed with the warm smiles of the wonderful staff. On our way to the check-in counter, we immediately got a whiff of the sweet, crisp and clean air and noticed the inviting vibrant colours of the decor. The staff were very attentive and ensured that everyone in our group had an awesome experience. The interactive games, the virtual reality rides, and the AFP stage provided great amusement to our group. We couldn't be happier with the ambience, the numerous activities and the professional customer service we received.

Disappointing. Appalling. Shady…read more While attending a birthday party earlier today, it was incredibly disappointing to hear that my three-year-old's niece's birthday party was double booked ... understanding that sometimes this happens the way about the manager Lisa handle the situation was just completely appalling disappointing and although this may be a children's play place, the games played by the manager was appalling. To give some context of the situation, yes the play place was double booked by two birthday parties ... with about 30 people each party...Instead of trying to accommodate both parties, the manager of the place had forced us to leave. When it was left up to both parties to have a joint birthday party as to not ruin the experience for our children, the manager continue to be berating and use her on site employees who, by the way, couldn't have been older than 16 each to do her dirty work by trying to kick us out ... irregardless both family shared the space, like good neighbours...we shared in the experience of our children's birthday. ....However, the manager didn't stop there and continued to try to play games by promising returns on deposits for one family, but not the other clearly she was not willing to take a hit to her bottom line. If you are considering booking this appalling place, please be aware of the games the manager plays ... They are very likely to take your deposit double book you and leave you with a memorable experience. Unfortunately, not a good one..

DO NOT BOOK YOUR PARTY HERE! double booked 2 private…read moreparties and instead of admitting they were in the wrong they tried kicking a party full of guests and decor and food out! Blaming the party for the mix up. Many emails back and forth confirming date and time AND deposit accepted still not taking the blame. When time came to refund the party no one would call back or try and resolving this. Instead told the other party to chase the other party for money. Horrible costumer service from manager and owner of the place. Save your self a headache and do not go here!!! You will ruin your poor child's birthday party.. and to top it all off personal information including address and credit card was sent out to the wrong party because they were that confused! Save yourself.. and if they even try to respond to this review claiming it was the customers fault that's just more proof of their delusions.
