The personal and academic growth she has experienced here has gone beyond what we ever imagined. Before enrolling at Towne and Country, she attended another preschool, and it was a terrible experience. In contrast, this school has truly been a blessing. The class sizes are small, the campus is clean and beautiful, and the curriculum is of a high standard. Most of the teachers have been here for years, which says a lot about the quality and stability of the school. My daughter especially loves the big playground and the fun science and cooking projects they do every month. I will always be thankful to Towne and Country for everything they have done for my daughter. I highly recommend this preschool!

Their motto is "Where children know they're loved" and they live up to it. Every teacher knows every child, and everyone is treated like family. They have a lovely playground and spend quality time outdoors, tending the garden, observing the wildlife, and practicing their motor skills. They have chapel twice a week with Miss Patty and have the opportunity to be in a beautiful church with stained glass windows, experiencing sacred art and architecture. Miss Patty (a wonderful musician) plays the grand piano and leads the children in fun singing, praising God. One of their favorites is "Rejoice in the Lord always!" One or two kids light the candle every week and snuff it out, offering their little prayers to God, celebrating birthdays, praying for sick pets, saying thank you for our blessings (they do a beautiful Blessing of the Animals on the feast of St. Francis). Kids also have the opportunity to participate in Ash Wednesday traditions. I went every year with my daughter for the imposition of ashes. Fr. Barrett, the rector, regularly gives children's sermons during chapel. There are supplemental enrichment classes as well - music, karate, science, visits from the police, fire department, tooth fairy, and other community helpers. The kids love the summer program as well - each week there is a different theme and water play days! My daughter attended for 3 years and was more than ready for elementary school at the end of it. The social skills she developed are priceless. She also came out knowing all the basics as well - shapes, colors, letters, practicing writing. Oh, and did I mention, they potty trained her, too, and were happy to do it! As a parent who didn't have that much extended family support - the CLC community was a lifeline. Tracie and Sheila and the teachers were there for me to help me in the tricky toddler years of parenting, and I am eternally grateful. Logistics - Drop off and pick up are convenient - easy parking. The cost is affordable compared to other preschools I looked at, and they give church members a tuition discount, which I appreciated very much. They also have high teacher retention which is so important for the children and their sense of stability. Each teacher brings a unique skill set and personality and they work together as a team. The parent community is wonderful, too, and there are multiple events throughout the year for the families to connect - like the bike-a-thon and the wonderful Christmas concert the kids and teachers put on. Thank you, THANK YOU to all the loving teachers and directors, past and present, and the board members who do so many extra special things behind the scenes to make the preschool such a nurturing place for our children.

If the following statement doesn't convince you to choose KinderCare then I don't know what will:…read moreMy biggest regret in my son's life so far and maybe mine as well is not enrolling him at KinderCare when he first started preschool at 18 months old. Instead, my son went to another local preschool for two years and we're all still traumatized from that experience (I won't name them here but definitely check out my review on them and avoid them at all costs.) The reason for such a dramatic statement is pretty simple. The staff at KinderCare don't expect perfection and will not make you or your child feel bad for misbehavior. In the two years my son spent at the other preschool we quickly realized he was labeled the "bad kid" everyone wanted out. And at 3 and a half years old when they did effectively disenroll him, my son started at KinderCare and we noticed immediate differences, like him not crying and screaming about going into the classroom and the staff being willing to work with us and a behavior therapist we got a referral for through our insurance. And while he had bad days and was far from perfect, their response to those moments was nothing like at the other place and, most importantly, the teachers and director at KinderCare never made us feel bad or inept as parents. I never dreaded talking to my son's teachers and the director about a rough day like I did at the other place. They never called us demanding our son be picked up early after misbehaving or schedule countless condescending meetings with us about his behavior like the other place did. The difference was truly night and day. There are a few people I'd like to highlight that made my son's 10 months at KinderCare such a blessing and pleasant experience: 1.) Ms. Jenn: I knew from when I first called inquiring about if they have room that Ms. Jenn was a great and compassionate leader. She was willing to accommodate the behavior therapist we hired to help my son with some struggles that were probably exacerbated at the other place and in the rare instances he was sent to her office to cool down it never felt punitive or belittling like it did before. My son clearly loved Ms. Jenn and always went out of his way to say hi or bye to her at pickup/drop off. I'll never forget how she read books with him when he was hesitant at drop off on his second or third day. 2.) Ms. Naira: the perfect combination of firm and loving, my son bonded with her more than any other preschool teacher he's ever had. She was so sweet and good to him and so good about keeping us informed on his progress and working with us and the behavior therapist to help him thrive. She was so patient with him and so giving as well, frequently letting my son take home little gifts from the "mystery box" and such. We could feel that she genuinely loved and cared about our son, and that was a new feeling for us after our prior experience. 3.) Ms. Hannah and Ms. Anya: the other two teachers in my son's class, who he also liked very much. While we mostly dealt with Ms. Naira because of drop off and pickup times, Ms. Hannah and Ms. Anya were also great about working with us to help my son grow and thrive. (I also want to give a special shout-out to my daughter's teachers so far: Ms. Taylor , Ms. Getsemani, Ms. Saray and Ms. Michelle. While her needs aren't as involved as my son's, all of them have taken such great care of her as well.) And now my son is off to TK but we will all miss KinderCare very much and hope to be back for the summers, at least while my daughter is still there. But I mean it when I say that maybe my biggest regret in life is not having KinderCare be our only preschool. It goes without saying I cannot recommend Ms. Jenn and her team enough and hope you will choose them for your childcare/preschool needs.

Before choosing Pine Tree, I toured about five different schools because I wanted to make sure we found a place where my children would not only be safe, but also happy, supported, and able to thrive. As a parent, trusting someone else to care for your little ones is a huge decision--and Pine Tree made that decision so much easier. From the moment we toured the school, Ms. Perla made us feel incredibly welcomed and at ease. She was warm, transparent, and genuinely enthusiastic about the children, the staff, and the school's approach. We could immediately tell that this wasn't just a daycare--it was a nurturing learning environment built with heart. Ms. Perla and Ms. Michelle are hands-down the best ever. Their communication with parents is consistent, thoughtful, and reassuring, and they truly go above and beyond to make each child feel seen, safe, and loved. The teachers at Pine Tree foster a strong foundation not just academically, but emotionally and socially. We've seen so much growth in our daughters--from their language and problem-solving skills to their confidence and emotional regulation. The curriculum is age-appropriate and engaging, and they do an amazing job at balancing structure with play, creativity, and exploration. They also celebrate cultural events and individual milestones, which makes every child feel special and included. The school maintains a clean, safe, and joyful environment that radiates positivity. It's clear that the staff take pride in what they do, and that translates into the way the children flourish here. My daughters come home excited to tell us about their day--and that kind of enthusiasm says everything. We are incredibly grateful to have found Pine Tree Preschool. Highly recommend to any parent who's looking for a place where their child will be truly cared for, supported, and encouraged to grow. There's absolutely nothing negative to say--only gratitude for the amazing care and experiences our children have had here.

My son attended this preschool for two years. Initially, things were great when the previous…read moreadministrator was in charge, but once Ms. Amanda took over, everything started to go downhill. One of the biggest issues is the incredibly high teacher turnover. When we raised concerns about this, we were told they can't keep teachers due to low pay, which was very unsettling. My son, who is sensitive to change, had five different teachers within an eight-month period. This was far too much for a 3-year-old to handle, and it understandably affected his behavior. Instead of offering support to help him adjust, Ms. Amanda continually blamed us and labeled my son as a "problematic kid." She even told other teachers that my son might have a brain issue, which was both hurtful and completely inappropriate. After consulting with two psychologists and a pediatrician, all of them confirmed my son is perfectly normal, and they strongly recommended removing him from the school. Ms. Amanda also lied to us multiple times. She claimed that other parents were unhappy with my son attending the school, but after speaking with many of them directly, they completely denied this. She also said that teachers didn't want my son in their class, but when I talked to two of his teachers, they firmly rejected this claim. It was clear that Ms. Amanda was fabricating these stories to avoid addressing the real issues and to place blame on us instead of taking responsibility. Though there were a few wonderful teachers, like Mrs. Poei and Mrs. Yovana, the turnover rate in the 3-4 year old class and TK is alarming. Worse still, Ms. Amanda's attitude towards the children is deeply concerning. She expects complete obedience from students, likely because she struggles to manage difficult situations. Anytime a child so much as takes a toy from another, parents are required to sign a form, and this behavior is documented. This documentation was used against us when they suggested our son wasn't a good fit for the school. Also, many of the 5-star reviews for this preschool are written because parents are encouraged to leave positive reviews in exchange for a $50 discount. After leaving Pine Tree, I enrolled my son in a new school, and he is thriving. He loves his teacher, enjoys going to school, and it has become clear just how poor the experience at Pine Tree really was. If your child is active, sensitive to change, or doesn't fit a rigid mold, I would strongly advise against this school. Their rigid expectations and Ms. Amanda's harsh, untruthful, and unprofessional approach made for a terrible experience for our family
