At Blessed Sacrament Children's Learning Center, I can safely tell you, your child and your whole family will be LOVED. Their motto is "Where children know they're loved" and they live up to it. Every teacher knows every child, and everyone is treated like family. They have a lovely playground and spend quality time outdoors, tending the garden, observing the wildlife, and practicing their motor skills. They have chapel twice a week with Miss Patty and have the opportunity to be in a beautiful church with stained glass windows, experiencing sacred art and architecture. Miss Patty (a wonderful musician) plays the grand piano and leads the children in fun singing, praising God. One of their favorites is "Rejoice in the Lord always!" One or two kids light the candle every week and snuff it out, offering their little prayers to God, celebrating birthdays, praying for sick pets, saying thank you for our blessings (they do a beautiful Blessing of the Animals on the feast of St. Francis). Kids also have the opportunity to participate in Ash Wednesday traditions. I went every year with my daughter for the imposition of ashes. Fr. Barrett, the rector, regularly gives children's sermons during chapel. There are supplemental enrichment classes as well - music, karate, science, visits from the police, fire department, tooth fairy, and other community helpers. The kids love the summer program as well - each week there is a different theme and water play days! My daughter attended for 3 years and was more than ready for elementary school at the end of it. The social skills she developed are priceless. She also came out knowing all the basics as well - shapes, colors, letters, practicing writing. Oh, and did I mention, they potty trained her, too, and were happy to do it! As a parent who didn't have that much extended family support - the CLC community was a lifeline. Tracie and Sheila and the teachers were there for me to help me in the tricky toddler years of parenting, and I am eternally grateful. Logistics - Drop off and pick up are convenient - easy parking. The cost is affordable compared to other preschools I looked at, and they give church members a tuition discount, which I appreciated very much. They also have high teacher retention which is so important for the children and their sense of stability. Each teacher brings a unique skill set and personality and they work together as a team. The parent community is wonderful, too, and there are multiple events throughout the year for the families to connect - like the bike-a-thon and the wonderful Christmas concert the kids and teachers put on. Blessed Sacrament was one of the many choices available for my son to attend preschool. I searched online for some recommendations and also toured a few places as well. By far, Blessed Sacrament CLC was the most welcoming and made us feel as if we did not have to worry about our son while we were at work. We knew he would be loved and taken care of here. We initially were really worried because our son has been at home with us for the last 2 1/2 years due to the pandemic but he quickly adjusted and this was mainly because of the staff here. He comes home VERY happy every day and also very tired which is GREAT :) Currently going through construction around the area since they are building senior housing right next to it but it does not seem to bother the kids at all and actually makes for some cool sightseeing. I would recommend this place and also encourage you to tour it if you are looking for a safe and loving place for your kid(s)! read more

Finding a place that will take as good of care of my kids as I would while providing them with the social and educational experience they need was not easy. Everyday I can see the love all of the staff have for my kids and all of the kids at the school. Our family has been a part of this school for almost 3 years now, and I am so very thankful for the opportunity for them to learn and grow here. A few of the attributes Blessed Sacrament has that makes them very special are: -Classrooms that start at age 2 -Children do not need to be fully potty trained, and they will assist with potty training (this was huge for my daughter who started at the school when she was 2 and Miss Anita was FANTASTIC in assisting us with mastering this skill) -Teacher tenure; it is clear that this is not just a job for these teachers this is their chosen profession and Blessed Sacrament is where they choose to work. -Educational development; my son was 100% prepared for Kindergarten and his Kinder teacher was impressed at how advanced he was. -Reasonable pricing & flexible schedule; they offer part time or full time options and based on classroom space are very flexible with days of attendance. *Special note relating to COVID-19 They did a wonderful job navigating through the world wide pandemic. Speaking as an elementary school teacher, this school is absolutely amazing for kids! The learning environment, created by staff members who truly care, is unequivocally one of the best in the area. All of the teachers at the school know and interact with my daughter, and have made her school experience a positive and enjoyable one. She looks forward to going to school every day, and I attribute that completely to the loving and patient staff. She has also learned, thanks to her teachers, how to be more independent and responsible at two years old. They have fun school events throughout the year (winter performance, Grandparents' Day, end-of-year auction, etc.), and truly make it feel like a community. The cost, which is extremely reasonable, is just the cherry on top. This place is such a wonderful school. All the teachers are so kind and nurturing with every child, it's obvious to anyone how much they love the kids. My daughter has been here for over a year and our only regret was not having her start sooner. She has learned so much and has made some friends for life. Compared to other preschools/daycares in the area that we toured this one in particular made us feel so welcoming and felt like home. We truly made the best decision and have the piece of mind while we are away at work and know that our daughter is in great hands. Best preschool around! Highly recommend. I have had to children attend there. All the teachers are amazing! Also low turn over rate for teachers which seems to be a constant thing for other preschools. We found this wonderful school when it was time for my daughter to go to preschool at age 4. I loved the school so much that the moment my son turned 2 we enrolled him. They help get him adjusted to school and even help with potty training. Every single person on staff knows every child by name and are incredibly loving. Absolutely the best! My daughter went here for 2 1/2 years and I absolutely loved everything there! The school is so clean, right behind a church. The kids get to attend chapel once a week and participate which was really nice. My daughter enjoyed it. The staff is amazing!! Tracy and Mary in the office are the best! They are so loving and caring with the children. The school is rather small, therefore every teacher knows every student, everyone knows everyone and it's just such a comforting atmosphere for the children (and parents)! My daughter was in Mrs Amy, Mrs Nancy, and Mrs Anvar's classes, and they were wonderful! I have nothing negative to say about our experience there, highly recommended to anyone with little children. I truly missed them when my daughter was ready for kinder, and let me tell you, she was ready! The curriculum taught at Blessed Sacrament got her ready for kinder, I almost feel she would have been better off continuing school there than going to a different site for kinder. My daughter has been attending here since August and she absolutely loves it. The teachers and staff are friendly and caring. My older son went to Kindercare and a Montessori preschool and although they were excellent schools as well, they didn't feel as inviting and nurturing as Blessed sacrament. My daughter looks forward to going to school everyday and has really learned so much in the short time she has been there. i've known 8 other kids who went through their program. so when my guy finally turned of age ... i was excited to send him here. its a great preschool. small but not too small. just the right size. all the teachers will get to know your kid. its a very family like atmosphere. they encourage lots of parent/family involvement. first and foremost, your child will feel loved. they will feel secure. they will also learn lots. the school has lots of outdoor play time as well. i really like that. the kids also go to chapel weekly. they sing songs and learn about jesus. they are also very flexible with your schedule. need to drop your child off an hour early or stay an hour late (for whatever reason) ... no problem. my son has made so many friends here. he just completed the program and graduated last week. now he's headed to elementary school. They start at age 2. They will assist in potty training too. They have the best teachers there. Most preschools have high teacher turnover. (Teachers are just there until they get a 'real' job in the school district.). Not here. These teachers are here because the want to be. Most have been there over 10 years. 3 of them 25 years! That's really unheard of. there are a few other good preschools in the area, no doubt. however, if you are looking for one thats more homegrown, more down to earth, thats warmer ... this is your school. its not about brighton bags or shiny cars ... when u start your search for a school ... go take a tour of this place. you'll love it. you'll love the affordable rates too. I am so happy that I found Blessed Sacrament CLC! My 2 daughters have gone to this pre school and we could not be more pleased! When I was looking for a pre school I had a couple of things that I was focusing on, one tuition and two, teacher turn around and three, class size...and Blessed Sacrament has exceeded our expectations on everything! The tuition is very reasonable, especially when you compare it to neighboring pre schools. There are many different time frames to choose from which makes it easy to fit the times and tuition in our budget. Teacher turn around was a big deal for me, I did not want my daughter to get attached to a teacher and see her leave in the middle of the year. In the 3 years that we have been at Blessed Sacrament there has been zero turn around, it has been the same teachers year after year. I love that because they really got to know my girls and they really care about the well being of the children in their school. Class sizes are perfect! They are not to big or small....the kids learn and understand how the dynamics of a classroom work, but they still get the individual attention they need as pre schoolers. As a Kindergarten teacher, I definitely recommend this wonderful preschool!
