There is also a new playground setup that covers a wide range of age gaps between people that visit. The dog park available next to the playground is very spacious and never really crowded at most times of the day. The park is massive and never really has any crowding problems even at the two basketball courts or on the water. The pond is open to fishing and boating (in separate places of course) which is nice for families that don't have access to a pool and want to go swimming while allowing people to fish if they want. Overall, the park is very spacious and looks enjoyable to all that visit.

Our puppy loved the ducks (and these were some FRIENDLY and INTERACTIVE ducks...) and we experienced some other cool avian sightings. Not a surprise - but the restrooms were suitably scary and during the first part of our visit, the overcast and gray sky made the cement building feel ripe for a horror movie experience... compete with a scary service truck and a man in stained overalls. (Please note, the gentleman was actually very friendly and engaging and was hard at work - he was not in any way a negative presence). The park is expansive and it was actually really busy for a Thursday evening. The dog park was intriguing but we ran out of time to visit. The play area had something for all ages and was popular with children through teens. Loads of parking and the shelter area was great for a school gathering. Can't wait to visit again!

The expansive brick-arched pavilion resembles a train station which is in keeping with the trains that travel down the town's Main Street daily. I was told that the pavillion is host to many musical events and the Saturday artisans/farmer's market. Included in the areas are musical instruments, slides, rope bridge, climbing wall, merry-go-round and more. There is a building with very nice restrooms. There is an area of dedicated parking and there is also street parking available nearby. There is an abundance of nearby shops and eateries along Main Street.
