Stopped by to walk my dog. This park has a Castle recreation center, swimming pool, tennis courts, and playground. It was really quiet when I visited. There is a lot of land and it's well maintained. There is limited parking next to the play area.

Stopped to eat lunch!

Stopped here to eat my takeout lunch. Small, quiet park with you guessed it - a castle! Fun find in the middle of Lexington.

Great playground. Bathrooms closed which is inconvenient for a park where you are bringing a kid.. and parking is odd. Nice playground

I don't visit Jacobson Park very often but everytime I have visited, the park is always in great…read morecondition. There are beautiful walking trails and open fields for hanging out. There is also a new playground setup that covers a wide range of age gaps between people that visit. The dog park available next to the playground is very spacious and never really crowded at most times of the day. The park is massive and never really has any crowding problems even at the two basketball courts or on the water. The pond is open to fishing and boating (in separate places of course) which is nice for families that don't have access to a pool and want to go swimming while allowing people to fish if they want. Overall, the park is very spacious and looks enjoyable to all that visit.

Our puppy loved the ducks (and these were some FRIENDLY and INTERACTIVE ducks...) and we experienced some other cool avian sightings. Not a surprise - but the restrooms were suitably scary and during the first part of our visit, the overcast and gray sky made the cement building feel ripe for a horror movie experience... compete with a scary service truck and a man in stained overalls. (Please note, the gentleman was actually very friendly and engaging and was hard at work - he was not in any way a negative presence). The park is expansive and it was actually really busy for a Thursday evening. The dog park was intriguing but we ran out of time to visit. The play area had something for all ages and was popular with children through teens. Loads of parking and the shelter area was great for a school gathering. Can't wait to visit again!

The playgrounds are great quality and nicely divided so kids of different ages have plenty to enjoy. One of the best parts is how walkable it is to downtown. Sweet shops, cafés, antique stores -- everything's just a short stroll away. It makes for a perfect outing: play, grab a treat, maybe shop a bit. The pavilion is beautiful and gives the park a polished, welcoming feel. Plenty of shady spots and benches make it easy for parents (and grandparents!) to sit and relax while the kids burn off energy. All in all, if you're looking for a peaceful, charming park close to town with good amenities, Springs Park delivers. Highly recommend for families, casual visitors, or anyone wanting a breath of fresh air in a pretty setting.

The expansive brick-arched pavilion resembles a train station which is in keeping with the trains that travel down the town's Main Street daily. I was told that the pavillion is host to many musical events and the Saturday artisans/farmer's market. Also keeping with the town's love of trains, there is a piece of playground equipment fashioned after a locomotive. The playground has areas that are appropriate for younger and older children. Included in the areas are musical instruments, slides, rope bridge, climbing wall, merry-go-round and more. There is a building with very nice restrooms. There is an area of dedicated parking and there is also street parking available nearby. There is an abundance of nearby shops and eateries along Main Street.
