If your lucky you can stroke or hold them too. There are several excellent playgrounds for children of different ages. There's a soft play area as well. Other animals include, huskies, horses, ponies, meerkats, tortoises, turkeys, snakes and more. You also get to ride on a tractor to a nearby cow milking barn (Sorry don't know the correct terminology). It's quite educational for kids. There's quite a large cafe here too. All in all it's a good day out. I personally think that it's pretty expensive. £35 plus for a family of four would definitely make me think twice before coming back.

The Meerkat area absolutely run down. The small park areas disappeared or run down. Parking not expensive. Cafe is ok. Nice cuppa and food appears reasonably priced. This a fairly new play area for children aged 0-7 with a ball area, toddler play ares, game…read moremachines etc. I have been there recently and although my little one enjoyed, I was not too keen on the interior of the place. It is situated in an Industrial park and it is difficult finding the place and when you get there, there are several warehouses around and parking becomes a problem (and your car be clamped!). It is rather tight here. The play areas were fine but the seating for adults was quite basic and very impersonal. The snack bar had very little to offer so that was disappointing as well. It is not the best of places but I would take my little one if she was bored and we had nothing else to do.
