Though she is just a toddler, she absolutely fell in love with the staff. She is naturally a very happy and loving baby, but it was evident that she sensed something extra with this staff. I wasn't sure if I was supposed to wait inside or in my car (I so prefer to wait in the car to delay having my baby be in a confined space with a bunch other sick babies), so I called and was told to wait inside. I went in and was told I'd have to wait while they verify my insurance. I was called up again at 9:50ish to make payment. At about 10, we were finally called to be seen. The nurse took her weight and temp, and wrote down her symptoms. Then we were directed to a room where we waited to be seen by the nurse practitioner. NP Kirsten saw us shortly. We went over her symptoms again and she listened to her chest, looked at her ears, throat, and inspected the bumps/rashes. She shared the diagnosis and treatment plan. She answered all my questions and addressed all of my concerns very thoroughly and patiently. I was out by about 10:15. That was a very long wait inside a confined space during respiratory illness season with other sick children/babies (we might've been the first patient as I didn't see any children in there or leaving before us). Strep turned into scarlet fever and a horrible ear infection. Very lazy and negligent of this provider to not prescribe an antibiotic for a sick child with a visible infections.

Even after moving to the McKinney/Allen area, we continue to make the drive to Willow Bend Pediatrics just to see Dr. Le--that's how much we value her care. They're always able to get us in when one of our kiddos isn't feeling well, and my kids actually love going to the doctor because of her. That says a lot!
